This is one of the most beautiful games I've ever seen.

I haven't gotten very far, but from what I've noticed is that you don't get that many gems from challenges now. And skills cost a fuckton to increase

Oblivion has better graphics.

I've heard people complaining about the final "cliffhanger", but I think that was done more for emotional impact and to leave it pureposefully a little bit on the open side, while the plot feels in any cased closed.

Graphics can easily be beaten by art style. Graphics are constantly surpassed, but a good art style is timeless.

49 side missions and 20 challanges.
Only two stiles, Lunar and Jupiter.

Oblivion looks better period. GR2 literally looks like a PS2 game putting aside the very intensive bloat they put in there just to make sure it didn't run at 60fps.

Gameplay itself got me buying it, even since on the first one.

An SSHD or SSD helps, i'm still impressed by it even with pop in though, there're no loading screens this time between all 8 regions and i has to load all the physics objects, NPCs etc.

A lot of scenes to me feel like they wouldn't make sense unless you knew about the origin story.

GR1 didn't have loading screens either and it was a portable game. GR2 has more but the pop-in is atrocious and no SSD's don't help, you can't even see gems until yo're relatively close to them which is just mental.

Also no spoilers please, but I got to the part where you go to Hekseville. Now my question is, when can I go back? And can I still do the online stuff like treasure hunting and photos here?

I have a ps4 pro, draw distances and popups are not as bad as in that webm all though the only thing i really notice are shadows not working in the distance sometimes.
Still not as bad as ff15 shadows, Even on the Pro.

Chapter 20. You don't actually go back, they fuse hekseville with the new map.

When you finished the main game so after mission 20. It's one big world at that point though. You can still find treasures and shit even side missions, just keep playing
