You best be 12 or something
Not funny, witty or clever, you just look retarded. If that's what you wanted to do, congrats.
Seeds of evil even though I've never beaten it without the big cheat. The rest sucked dick.
I fucking love the first game, dude. 10/10 bosses, mechanics, all that jazz.
Butt I lik thed gyme. Meke me fill like im 16 a ganl
Turok is an FPS that aged like fucking dirt.
That said, Turok 2 and 3 were fucking great for the time. 1 was OK and Rage Wars was basically only good in multiplayer.
I liked Evolution.
I tried them but they are way too hard. I guess they are either shit of casual filters.
>Use the big cheat in Turok 2
>Go into multiplayer
>Level warp twice
>MFW co-op campaign
ARK survivol evolved
Sauce me up.
The games' did not age well at all, and you play them now pretty much for nostalgia.
That being said, the PC remaster of Turok 1 is a lot of fun and worth the ~$5 bucks whenever it goes on sale.
[mamabliss] - Spirit of the North, or something like that
>mamabliss
Oh, is that the guy who always ruins his work with stupid ass comedy?
He's the guy with ineligable writing and a tendency to feature vore.
Are you thinking about doxy?
>whats the best turok game? they all seem bad
To be honest, 2 is the only good one. The series aged poorly.
It is also good if you like to bait enemies into killing eahc other (sometimes even required to survive, really), stab shit with your knife and kill dinosaurs. If you aren't interested in doing any of these, then avoid at all costs.
Nah, I swear mamabliss is the guy who'll have a good scene going and then just have the guy cum out a fish or something inane.
Eh? Turok 1 is easy, dude, you move at the speed of light and get explosive ammo something crazy.
It's hardly Bloodrayne 1 or something ridiculous.
>Turok is an FPS that aged like fucking dirt.
So it's the same as it was years ago?
first turok has aged absolutely terribly. i played it heaps as a kid and loved it. i still do love it but couldnt bring myself to finish the recent-ish port
Ignore the trolls dude, this posts made me smile :)
>fast-paced old-school FPS with big levels and bigger guns, full of secret areas, featuring dinosaurs, aliens, voodoo tribalists, and robots as enemies
Dinosaur Hunter is an absolute fucking blast to play. Get the PC version. Wait on the Nightdive version of Seeds of Evil, in a gaming landscape where 30fps is mocked relentlessly, the N64 version's framerate is downright offensive. It's slower-paced, but also great.
Well if you say so.
Granted I haven't seen all of his stuff but that just doesn't sound like his style to me
>Turok 2 confirmed for a remaster
>August
Starting to lose faith.
They just released a level editor for Turok.
A pretty damn good one, too.
Why can't "remasters" just be updated graphics and fixed bugs.
They have to fuck up everything in the game, why.
Did we play the same game? I was playing in hard.
>Start Turok
>Ah alright, this gonna be gud
>walk 5 steps, soldier
>Each hit lowers 20% of hp
>move away and stab him, dinosaur sees me then he hits me
>Attacks way too fast, how the hell do you even beat these things?
>kill it anyways
>out of ammo
>next enemy, instantly die
Well shit.
My problem with the Turok games is the massive levels. Sounds great, until you miss a key or objective and have to retread the entire level looking for it.
Also, the respawning enemies in Turok 1 are really annoying. They respawn after just a few seconds.
>I was playing in hard.
I was just playing medium, I think. PC remaster, did it have difficulty levels?
Maybe mouselook just trivializes the game.
What the fuck, dude. I just did a hard mode playthrough a couple of weeks ago, it was a fucking bloodbath from start to finish. It was almost comical how fast everything was dying around me.
Meh. I guess my reflexes suck.
Seeds of Evil is the best
youtube.com
Oh I played the n64 version, emulated. Maybe gotta play medium/normal for a sucker like myself.
Is the final boss even possible wihtout cheating?? It was hard as fuck.
1 or 2 is the best. Withholding judgment until 2's remaster is out.
Also anyone saying Turok has aged poorly is retarded. The remaster proved that simply increasing the framerate and draw distance is the only improvements the game needed to be elder god tier, otherwise the core of the game was already solid.
Jump puzzles, so good.
They're the only thing that was keeping me from finishing a play through. Don't know why they're so hard, maybe I hard a hard time over jumping with the DKC ledge jumping.
Eh, maybe I've just played the games too many times, the series has literally been a holiday tradition for me for over a decade. Primagen's tough on N64 due to some precise aiming needed while he's stomping around, but he's not even close to that level of boss fight where it seems like you need cheats to win. The PC version will certainly take his fangs right out for that very reason, mouse aiming will, as said, completely trivialize him.
And I actually did get into the series as a youngster by immediately discovering and utilizing all manner of cheat codes including level warps, as it seems most of you also did, but after playing through normally I came to realize that the games really are pretty fair about equipping you and rewarding exploration. Hell, Dinosaur Hunter I'd say goes completely overboard. Even on hard on the N64, Gold Crosses become almost obsolete by level 3 because at that point it's just going from armor pickup to armor pickup, and I only say almost because of the boss fights.
No Cronoscepter Campaigner > Mantis > T Rex > Longhunter > Cronoscepter Campaigner
>Lair of the Blind Ones
>Only missing a single thermal vent
>Ran through the level 3 times and couldn't find shit
>Give up and look up a map
>It doesn't tell me a fucking thing
>Proceed to stumble around the map 8 more times before I finally find it
AND THEN IT HAPPENED AGAIN IN THE FUCKING HIVE OF THE MANTIDS
PC remaster of Turok 1 is really good. Too easy though.
Turok 2 already had a PC port. You'd have to fuck around with the settings and patches though to make it run properly, so maybe just wait for the remastered version.
That's why these games were better than the arrows in the floor every time.
So Turok we meet at last. I think you will find that I am well prepared.
thats why i dropped t2 at the lair of the blind ones. i loved t2 but couldnt find the last key/stone whatever it was
Turok 2 or Rage Wars
1 and 2 are good. The rest vary between shit and mediocre.
>Meke me fill like im 16 a ganl
So made you remember how much you suck at games?
Anyway, pic related is what you want, easily the best singleplayer shooter ever made, the weapons, level design and overall quality remains unmatched.
2 > 1 > rest > that piece of shit reboot
I bought the turok remaster on steam, but it honestly seems like fucking garbage to me
Enemies respawn in like 10 fucking seconds, and they constantly hit you when you can't even see them from behind the fog, and I have the fog turned mostly off, so I can't imagine what N64n players had to deal with.
I turn a corner, and got shot twice without even being able to see who shot me, and if I try to take my time, everything respawns.
It feels like trash to me.
Holy shit, you are bad.
How are you this bad?
I beat the first turok game when I was 7.
What the fuck is wrong with you.
underrated post
inb4 dino d-day or far-cry primal
I layed when I was like 21 or so. 7 year olds have incredibly fast reflexes. This is why child solders are thing in shitty countries.
>mfw find out a good amount of the people who made metroid prime did turok 1/2
no wonder it was so good
You missed the vent by the waterfalls too didn't you?
Did they? Had no idea, but no wonder the level design in Prime is so good then, deffinitely talented people.
