That doesn't look very comfy to be honest.

I want to live there desu baka senpai.

Maybe your definition of comfy is just retarded.

I wonder if the four we've seen are all of them.

Also, I love the potion tanks on the side of the house on the right in OP's pic.

Finally they start showing more towns and buildings, I was afraid that the map was gonna be pretty empty like in the e3 2016 demos.

Hope there are going to be quests like in MM

...

There are 76 sidequests according to the official guide.

>village so comfy even Ganondorf says "Fuck it, I'm done."

Why is everything covered in astroturf instead of grass?

I'm hoping two or three human villages, and then areas for each race.

That's pretty standard, isn't it?

Desert village is comftier desu

>inb4 there is only a single Goron in the game

This
fpbp

Please tell me we get Gerudos

...

I hope they don't fucking beef it like in TP.

Perfect setup for a Gerudo fortress infiltration, and is just fucking moblins.

>comfier
>when it's probably hot as all hell
I don't think so, Tim.

You can clearly see a Gerudo girl in the latest trailer.

ahhhhhhhhh where is the nose

It's summer here in Australia.
There is nothing comfortable about the heat, even less in hot sandy shit holes.
I'd imagine you'd only really be able to do shit when the sun isn't trying to burn a hole through your exposed skin.

Its literally right there. Are you blind?

You see the oasis? You can just chill in the cold water

but it's so short and round

looks kinda boring
older zeldas were wackier

I guess there's not gonna be castle town since the caste got pig aids

Always thought TP looked really generic

I want to fuck that birb

So why is there this desaturation filter on all of these anyway? I saw it when during the Live Reveal too and it makes it look ugly. It's like they realized everyone hated the bloom in WWHD and went the complete opposite extreme.

Aaaaa?

what is this?

yeah, because botw look sooo much more original

We see Hyrule Castle Town in the latest trailer as it's being overrun by Ganon-corrupted guardians, it's most likely destroyed in the present, but I hope we get to explore it if there are sequences set in the past.

how many villages are there ?

do we have info on that ?

I just like botw style more. Felt like parts of TP clashed with the kind of idea I have for what a Zelda game should look like desu

>generic european architecture

why

No. We've seen four so far.

It could be like Oblivion where it looks fine from the front but you turn it and it's a long schnoz

Four?
Op, desert town, the town overrun by the machines (probably in the past), and what was the last one?

>only actual town is not gonne be in the game
Thanks Aonuma

I hope so

It's exotic for japanese audience

>posting worst Kakariko
grose

probably to try and make it look like watercolor paintings, but I agree it's overdone in these shots.

There was another town in the VGA trailer: youtube.com/watch?v=vDFZIUdo764

32 seconds in. Later on you can also see ruins of a town near Hyrule Castle, so Hyrule Castle Town is definitely destroyed in the present.

>the most destructive and deadly thing in the game is based on an Octorok

Write what you know, eh Aonuma?

if you're implying that's the best comfy town in the series I'm sorry to say that you are incorrect. Comfiest town is in fact Clock Town

>he doesn't like run-down abandonded villages

You know what annoys me?

This is a proper village and it's probably the same size with more explorable buildings than a "city" or "town" in Skyrim.

The castle town in Twilight Princess was quite limited and even that was probably bigger than any town in an elder scrolls series.

God damn it you're right. I get hung up on the 3 day scheme because I feel MM's days are too short feeling to enjoy. But you're right. I've waited nearly 20 years for a game to do a better town. Nothing has delivered.

Do we think there'll be sidequests?

I mean, theres towns and shit by the looks of it which must have NPCs.

Mabe Village and Animal Village in Link's Awakening are comfier than both.
>there will never be a 3D remake of LA

>that plumbing

It's honestly a bit unfair to compare clock town to the others, since character interaction is such a huge part of MM and you spend so much more time in town than in the other games

There are 76 sidequests according to the official guide.

One is probably getting Epona. Hopefully the green tunic is one too.

OoT?

I seriously have no clue what's going on with half of BOTW's shit. It should be able to look way better than it does even with just a simple contrast increase.

You know, people were rumouring that the game was running in 0-255 colour instead of, what, 16-240 or whatever which is standard for most monitors? Maybe that has something to do with it. Maybe the game looks really good on the Switch's handheld screen, or if you have a properly-tuned screen set up to view it, but it looks like dogshit otherwise because all the colours get compressed and you lose all the detail.

Or Nintendo just fucked up the haze in this game like they fucked up the LOD.

Close.

>bigger than Vivec

Nintenyearolds please

Vivec isn't enormous. It's just so painful to get around that it feels big.

Historical revisionism. The first dangerous Octorok-based enemy in the series was Big Octo in LA, which got reused in OoT.

Vivec is bigger than any town in a Zelda game.

They are clearly based on the incredibles robot

Looks like generic MMO town #17

I never really thought about it, but that's actually a really cool design.

I think you'll find it actually looks like generic MMO town #16.

It's very probable that it's a bug to do with color output, atleast for raw footage capted from the game (compare it to the live demos captured with an external camera).

NTSC color outputs from something like 16-235. TV's assumes this is the case and compensates for it internally, giving you good picture.

However, the screenshot and video capture techniques used by the Switch and WiiU is incorrectly assuming the output is 0-255, and when encoding the video, squashes it to 16-235... causing a doubled down reduction in contrast ratio. Now view this on a PC monitor that expects a 0-255 color range input, and you get footage with VERY washed out colours, more so than normal 16-235 authored content.

I like it, its part of its style and makes it look a bit more like a painting.

You peasants just don't understand the difference between full range RGB and limited RGB and why using one on a TV that doesn't support it will fuck up the colour.

DigitalFoundry did a video not too long ago demoing the differences using PS4s full and limited RGB modes.

Or......BotW might just look like shit regardless. I mean, using the correct RGB range isn't going to make up for the terrible texture resolution and aliasing.

Wait, why does she have pointy ears?

>looks like shit
>I like it

The fanboy delusion never ends.

Aonuma is senile.

"Style", it's gross and ugly though.
Hopefully Cemu lets you correct this garbage.

this isn't a discussion about texture resolution and aliasing though, this is about the coloring alone

Kinda looks like that shitstain village from Fable

one man's trash is another man's treasure, user
not him btw, I think it looks dodgy outside of a few shots

Wow has way more :\

He means the (((nose)))

>It's very probable that it's a bug to do with color output,
Fuck off.

Does this actually look like a large town to you?

>Gerudo-Hylian half breed

MY DICK

>has never played the game

Each canton is a self-contained town.

NinTODDLER

>the Gerudos reverse-raped Link when they took him prisoner

>Gerudo skin tone and eyes
>Hylian ears and nose

Genetic jackpot

I fucking LOVE aqueducts!

>Vivec
>in Skyrim
shitposting faggot.can't read

>reverse-raped

It's a patrician tier fetish, Anita-chan.

No way a massive multiplayer online role playing game developed for many years that has been through many expansion packs has more quests then the first open world zelda game?

...

>looks like shit
>it look a bit more like a painting
every time

because its foreign looking to nips and ancient looking to Americans

There is something ever so slightly shitty about these in-game screenshots. I feel like it's really close to looking genuinely good, but I can't really put my finger on what it is.

>loads of windmills
>no farms

The fuck do they need those for? Electricity?

looks like it's made out of clay

...

To me it's their overuse of the landscaping tool.

It reminds me a lot of games from the early 2000s. Where instead of using models for cliffs and hills and stuff they just drag a brush over the landscape and create a hill that way, it's also used quite a bit by shitty Unity devs adding to the cheaper look.

Like there is a severe lack of hard edges in the landscapes and it makes it look very sculpted.

Here's an extreme example of what I'm talking about.

TP Kakakirko fucking sucked. Seriously did anyone like walking around there?
