This has to be one of the shittiest games I've played. It's a braindead walking simulator with a tacked on dice rolling minigame. >all the "puzzles" are linear, there's literally no way to get stuck >you just run laps around the same tiny ass map and talk to the person in the area with the objective marker >you do this for a couple hours >then you enter the post game, which consists of picking five cards randomly and then swapping two, winning virtually every time except for some bullshit against artificial difficutly S-chan >once you get all the cards, there's LITERALLY nothing else to do except level up the cards that you can't do anything with because you already beat everyone >for some reason the fragments you need to level up are randomly dropped instead of guaranteed >the story along the way is incredibly shallow too
Every fucking design decision baffles me, why is this game one of the top rated games on the eshop?

I'm genuinely mad that I wasted four hours playing this thinking the whole time that it would get better because surely something this vapid wouldn't be a literal chart-topping game
Liam Price
This will sound stupid, but it wasn't meant to be enjoyable as a game. The whole point of it was stirring up childhood nostalgia by offering a simple experience that called back to what you did, felt and imagined as a kid. Of course, this applies to Japanese kids so it's pretty much lost on us. And no, I'm not excusing the very shallow gameplay, just explaining why it is that way.
Owen Ross
i can see this being the case for why they made it that way, but not for why on the NA eshop it's so highly rated
also, someone please explain what the fuck was up with the spell shit. I assume that's what batsugemu or whatever is, but is it seriously that retarded?

>That little tooth gap
Cute!

It's okay. I guess you expected something longer? This game was part of a collection of games released in a pack in Japan. It was released separately and digitally only in the West. It doesn't explain the length or the depth in the eShop, but you probably should've put more research before you bought it. Originally it was called Guild01 and there are two more games to it: Liberation Maiden and Crimson Shroud. Liberation Maiden is short like 1 hour maximum, but it has replayability for those unlocks. Crimson Shroud is like a Table Top RPG, but there's a section in the game where it makes you grind for a certain drop that's really low. All three games in Guild01 aren't that in depth, but playable in bursts I guess.

Does the little girl have sexy time in this game? These are important details.

>i can see this being the case for why they made it that way, but not for why on the NA eshop it's so highly rated I don't know. Maybe >also, someone please explain what the fuck was up with the spell shit. I assume that's what batsugemu or whatever is, but is it seriously that retarded? Just kiddy rigmaroles, I don't know about the mix-and-matching part of them, but I've seen spells in that style in various anime. Not necessarily to punish someone for losing a game.
Cameron Roberts
liberation maiden and crimson shroud are vastly deeper than this game though. And Liberation Maiden was a blast and a half, how are the other two so dull?
Logan Diaz
Probably because there's no action. It's all just at your leisure and the story or setting isn't that engaging. It took me a while to finish both of those because of how dull they are. Made me just want to play other games.

But you get to fuck your imouto or not

I'm thankful I never bought it at full price.

>expecting some AAA gameplay when this game is CLEARLY about simply being a young boy and exploring the outside with your friends and imagining fun adventures
did you even childhood? kys you bitter piece of shit
Kayden Robinson
Imaging fun adventures would've been more fun than playing this PoS

James Howard
Not him, but having had no childhood makes me want to try this game even more.

>dude 2nd from right has a rape whistle Oh yeah, his parents know he's a hot lil shota, alright

You're looking at the game as game play mechanics alone without being able to recognize the overall experience. Video games are not for you.
