Really? They messed it up? I've still yet to play any remasters or ports of old games because there are always reports of changes, from just messed up lighting or models to removed content. It pisses me off that the younger generations hear about good games and then get flawed versions of them.

Yes, the grip mechanic is glitched. I don't know the technicalities, but the grip will sometimes last 1/2 as long, or even 1/3 as long as it would on PS2. Not only that, but sometimes Wander's feet cannot find hold/root on the Colossus, and will just flail around.
It's already hard enough on PS2 to beat some Colossi, so on PS3 it can be impossible, or up to luck (I still finished it because I love the PS2 version).
