The game is well put together, has a ton of features that should be standard in the genre, the effort put into it is crazy, and it's relatively fun on it's own.
But it's really damn unsatisfying to play compared to the series it's emulating.

I guess the overall movement and pressing buttons just feels good. Shit feels super snappy. That and the sound effects are way better.

My personal favourite is the Soul Cal series. Most interesting diverse cast of characters, satisfying mechanics, no overemphasis on combos, they're present but it's not retarded get hit and put the controller down for the next 20 seconds shit. Atmosphere and setting are on point too.
