I'd play a new Virtua Fighter if they made one.
2-D only
can't fix garbage
Top looks like both controllers broke down. what is going on there?
we cannot fix it
game is fine
players are faggots who are too afraid to rush into fight
>INB4 proper tactics
yeah, no. It is designed to be fast paced, no chess
neither player wants to get caught in a string that will deplete their entire lifebar
the way to avoid this is to not be in an unfavorable position where the opponent is more likely to succesfully execute their string than they are
the way to fix this bullshit would be limiting these stupid ass strings so we dont get desperate footsies like this
What you call a string is a "juggle".
Tekken is reliant on landing launchers. That's what you want to do, that's always what you should be trying to do. When the game hinges on a single moment like that, getting inside and making your opponent fuck up is the real battle.
i understand that it's crucial for the victory
but it doesnt make for an interesting game
not sure if you noticed the bottom half of the webm
>installed VF5FS yesterday
>damn, this game is so good
>online is dead
I have it on PS3.
I've basically forgotten how to play, though. It is damn good, I agree.
Don't worry, there will be people again when it comes to PC, some day.
Some day.........
Did you install it after watching Maximillion doods?
>fighting-game on pc
>alive
lol
No. I used to play many years ago and just wanted to play it a bit out of nostalgia. I also always wanted to learn Lei-Fei but didn't have motivation back in days. And now it looks like a useless idea.
No Super Ultra REV67 edition, keep it to one game or at least make a shared online environment for all editions
Actual singleplayer, actual netcodes so you can play decently with anyone in the world
Actual training modes
Make it popular, consider making the online mode free to play to get more peoples on it.
outside of competitive play or on casual play where both players know more about the game you are not even going to see it. for the casual who just mash wont make any difference if Tekken have or not launchers.
I want to make a good, 2D fighting game.
What are some things I should keep in mind when creating it, gameplay wise?
What appeals to the people?
More robo waifus.
Yeah, I love having to memorize motions and know frames of animation to beat autistic people at games.
I know the draw of fighting games is playing against other people, but I miss the focus on single player experiences. A token "arcade mode" just feels lacking.

I've watched tons of T7 tournament play and none of the shit I've seen looks like that webm.
