Stick of Truth was fun so I'm looking forward to it, but if they're trying to charge around $70 here for it so fuck that

after how awful the last season was, and how the show was on a steady decline for about 3 seasons now, I will not be buying this game.

I gotta tell you, last E3, I was fucking excited for this game. But now I feel like South Park might have run it's course.

I'll probably pick it up if it goes on sale for $15 sometime in the fall.

You get Stick of Truth with it so it's not a terrible deal. It'll end up being cheaper but still not bad for two games.

I'm looking forward to it. I wasn't expecting much of Stick of Truth, but I ended up loving the game. I hope this one has the same charm and feel.

Sad that they changed the combat though. I'm usually not into turn based combat, but in SoT it was very enjoyable.

It was a complete mishmash of several plots that never actually resulted in anything. I was starting to type them out but there's way too many fucking points to make it worthwhile.

I liked the Internet trolling plot, and the "twist" that the Norwegian dude was actually just some asshole who was messing around. Other than that it was a pretty weak season, yeah. They kinda forgot about the member berries in the end.

Something about Member Berries which was tied into The Force Awakens and reboots and JJ Abrams somehow? Clinton was implied to get a larger role later down the season which was completely dropped when she lost, and the conflict between the boys and girls was completely dropped too.

They got way too ambitious, I think.

I went back to South Park in late 2014 and re-watched every single episode (as well as watching the ones I hadn't seen) then played Stick of Truth. I got pretty into SP as well as M&T's other works like Orgazmo, Cannibal and Team America. and I looked forward to FBW once it got announced at E3 2015

Now with the disaster that was S20, I'm still planning to play FBW, but I'm really wondering what they'll do with the next season. Season 20's final episode title implied that they would drop continuity between episodes, so that would be interesting. It was a fun experiment in S18, interesting to see it taken up a notch in S19, but they went too fucking overboard with it in S20.

If SP doesn't get renewed after Season 23, I really do hope they end it with a second movie like they said they'd like to do a long time ago.

I seriously hope they return to episodic formula next season, continuous plot just doesn't work if you want to react to ongoing events. The only result are dropped plotlines and nonsense twists/changes attempting to fit their initial plans for the story into whatever happened that week.
