Entire series of games where you play as literal terrorists, with the only exception of Rogue

How do they keep getting away with it?

Why are Templars evil again?

Because they're in charge of Ubisoft

they jools

I've been playing 3 recently, and it's better than I expected.
Hanging people off trees with the rope darts is rad.

Currently playig Unity and hate it much less than I thought I would based on what people said about it. I pirated it to check it and kinda reregret I didn't get it for 10 bucks when it was on sale because the co-op stuff sounds like a fun little addition.
Some things about it are weird/stupid though. Is Arno some kind of wizard that absorbs memories?
>Stabs guy
>Knows everything he knew

WE

Maybe he's a ghost.
He does have a phantom blade.

It's better now because they patched most of the big issues.
At launch, it was so bad that they gave everyone the Season Pass DLC for compensation.

>the co-op stuff sounds like a fun little addition

Good luck finding people for co-op, been dead for a while now.

Forcing out 1 game per year can only work for so long. Actually it can't work at all, I don't know how the previous games turned out the way they did because for that time they are pretty good, they just could have been so much better.
Is Syndicate fixed too? Might pirate it too, in that case mostly because I doubt I can even run it with a playable FPS rate

Is there anything you won't get triggered by?

I think is an extension of his personal eagle vision. They do something similar in syndicate, once you stab the guy he just lays there dying but everytime he speaks he appears looking just fine standing in front of you like a spirit or something

>Is Syndicate fixed too?
I'm not sure.
Try some of the fixes on the PCGamingWiki:

You are talking to a brain dead mememaster, what do you think?

Runs exactly like Unity.
Although apparently if you run at above 45 FPS, you'll get freezes when riding carriages, since the map is not meant to load that fast at those FPS.
I mean, some animations ran at 30 FPS when the game came out on PC regardless of your framerate.

They've done that since the first game

Though the dialogue has gone from the characters justifying their actions and arguing their point of view to this: youtu.be/jN_kfX4X8HA?t=664

>Thought Arno would be an Ezio copy from what you see of him in the early scenes
>Quickly turns into butthurt incarnate and is basically Connor with Ezio looks
I'm confused

Fuck, Rogue was cash.

Your first mate was total bro-tier.

>It's a "the villain is infinitely more agreeable than the protagonist" game

>Runs exactly like Unity.
>if you run at above 45 FPS, you'll get freezes
I guess that's good then because I locked Unity at 40 to get a stable rate.

>The only AC game I've ever played is Syndicate
user, that shit has been in the game since AC1. I'm really not sure why they ever did it instead of just letting the guy talk while he's on the ground.

I hate the Assassin's Creed part in the Assassin's Creed games, if that makes sense.
Like, they explore these cool time periods and often have interesting characters that they could do a lot with, but it's all hampered by gameplay that feels horribly outdated. It's the same problem I think the Call of Duty series has now - they all play exactly the same as the first games (or MW1 in case of CoD). Most sequels at least try and innovate a bit or polish the core gameplay, but AC and CoD do neither. It's so frustrating.

Because the modern day ones believe in brain washing the entire planet, owning everything, and having every electronic spy on you.

Because in 99% of the assassinations you'd be getting spit roasted by guards while trying to talk with the guy, so the conversations couldn't happen in the "real world"

I agree.
The only sequel that felt like it really innovated was 3, but that had a terrible story.

>enjoying syndicate on PS4 since is nowhere as buggy as unity
>ubisoft breakes game with Pro update
They do this shit on purpose or what?

At least 4 built up the sailing more. Unity tried, I dunno. The souls meme that combines SP with Co-Op? Syndicate didn't do shit. I wonder what they do with Empire. They want to overhaul a lot.

>they'll never gonna remake the series into more of assassins vs templars instead of bullshit like gods, and pieces of eden and shit

>Blown away by the fashion options in Unity
>tfw most of it looks actually shit because the color options are bad and you can't just mix your own

well, sorry, i've actually played all ac games but only played recently unity and syndicate, so there's a lot of things i dont remember very good from the old ones. My mistake

I liked in Unity that they added indoor segments and "normal" stealth instead of asking you to try and "socially stealth" everything

Apple of Eden is pretty cool tbqhwy
But yeah, the whole illuminati underground battle affecting the whole world thing is great, I just don't get why they had to mix in too much magic bullshit.

They aren't. But for some reason AC1 and AC3 are the only ones to acknowledge it.

Turned me off too. It would be better if grounded into reality more. And fuck right off with the stupid "present day" character switching animus crap. No one liked Desmond

I liked Desmond when he stopped being a pussy in 3 and did some missions

Should I get the asscreed gold pack (Unity + Syndicate and some DLCs) for 32 bucks?

I got all the other games combined for about the same price.
