No, she's legitimately my favorite of the witches. She has good development, I liked her story arc in the main quest, I'm a fan of her design and I find her late-game conversations and her ending to be the best.

Among the witches, that is. My absolute favorite ending is Veronica's for the hilarity of it.

I did 90% of her events and even if she was getting better it was only at the same rate a child learns, at no point did it feel like she was fully cognizant. Mordi's autism was pretty low tier in comparison and was more of a quirk than a full on handicap.

I'm not the user you replied to and I can only speak for myself, but I find Popo's situation and development much more relatable than Mordimort's. Popo lived her whole life blaming herself for who she is and bound to a single duty, and once she got freed from it, she found herself thrust into a huge world she knew nothing of and struggled to find another purpose. It's pretty standard stuff but I think it was done well. Mordimort's story is pretty convoluted by comparison and she never truly sheds that layer of aloofness that makes her feel distant (or autistic in the worst cases). I liked her too but I could never get to care about her as much.

It is pretty amazing how Stella Glow turned out considering everything going on at Imageepoch during development. I guess the staff knew it was going to be their swan song so they went all out.
