I wouldn't call let's plays an art form, but the Jon year was probably the most fun I've ever had watching other people play video games. He and Arin had just such a once-in-a-lifetime chemistry together and they made it clear that it wasn't a let's play channel, just them playing games and making jokes about it, like Mystery Science Theater for vidya. If they ever made a DVD box set of all the videos with Jon, including all the animations, ads, and some fan remixes and animations, they'd make fucking bank.
