You will regret it if Seth is the only unit you've trained

I would try to go through your first run without wasting to much time grinding, just keep and handful of units the can just waste everything leveled to get through and once you beat it you'll have a better idea on different strategies you might want to try out and play through it again with characters you didn't try/ spendore time grinding.

seth emblem is a very good game

but you should use the characters you like, especially if it's your first playthrough

even without grinding, almost every character is viable

The secret to mastering exp distribution in this game is:

1. Quickly exit the game

2. Play FE6 instead

3. ??????

4. Profit

use only non-prepromoted units (Seth, for example, starts off prepromoted as paladin)

Dont use the trainee units (Ross, Amelia and Ewan)

Dont grind on the main map

There you go, FE8 is now the best game in the series

Sacred Stones is so easy that Seth actually is capable of clearing most of it on his own. What he can't, you can patch up easily. Even ignoring free grind options the game gives you fantastic units and easy babysitting spots.

The appeal of the particular title is that even though the difficulty is scaled low, the maps and design options are still top-notch, which means it's a particularly good Fire Emblem for efficiency runs or for themed runs.

If only the enemies weren't still jokes, then the game would at least be my favorite GBA FE.

I always try to spread out the exp in fire emblem. There are always certain people I use more and others I don't use. But everyone else is in the middle ground. If someone of a lower level can get a kill, I'll give it to them.

they were really rushed games made in their spare time while awakening was still in development. the wait between the fe8, fe9, and fe10 was much longer.

well Shadow Dragon was made at a low point in the series and with a lower budget than Echoes (which has studio Khara cutscenes), and Echoes seems like more of a reimagining and expansion of Gaiden than a straight remake

FE12 is fine, a good game

FE11 is pretty barebones but, well... playable? It obviously has quality of life improvements over FE3 so it's the best option to play if you don't mind how godawful it looks

He's stronger than his dad after like 3 level ups and is an unstoppable killing machine by the time he's a fighter or pirate.

Not to mention his axe BTFO hand axes

If you're doing a no-grind run Amelia is much harder to use and Ewan is worthless, but you get Ross so early that doesn't apply to him.
