Pyro Update leaked

Pyro Update leaked

pastebin.com/BQeBaTii

fake and gay I can tell by the pixels

wow thats very autistic of you OP to write that

>Jarate
>Coated allies take mini-crits for up to 8 seconds.
what the hell

People still play TF2?

That was most likely a typo, there's no way that would be implemented since Mad Milk has the same effects.

About 60,000 players a day, yeah.

didn't valve abandon that game?

>Those afterburn changes
>The Degreaser+Axtinguisher is finally fair and balanced
>Those Third Degree changes
>The SVF is finally decent
>That Homewrecker buff
>Powerjack is no longer the only Pyro Melee
>Airblast jumping
>Airblast no longer halts momentum
This needs to be real. Pyro has been so bad for so long.

>Valve
>"leaking" anything

No, it still gets updated at the very least twice a year, there's always a Halloween and a Christmas update, but sometimes there's more. Theres also a new WW2 community update in the works and the Pyro update is slated for this year. Of course, whether or not it actually drops this year or not is a mystery.

I've seen a few shops in my days

>L4D3

thats a very complicated series of changes for a very simple problem
pretty par for the course for valve

Not really. Airblast has ALWAYS been a mitigatable debuff, its basically a worse Bleed. With the new method, being on fire is a much more serious threat. Pyro also needed much better mobility since he's only a threat when he either ambushes you or gets close to you. Giving him access to more flanks and such is a much needed buff.

With Level 4 and 5 afterburn, Pyro's DOT is absolutly amazing, which was always an intended part of his kit. Now setting someone on fire will actually force a retreat on classes that normally absolutely destroy Pyro like Scout and Heavy. Also Pyro will actually be able to kill pocketed Heavies now, but Heavy will still mow him down if he doesn't get the drop on him.

they write the patch notes the day they ship it tho

>Half life 2

Who says thoese are the patch notes?

the title of the pastebin

I think it means reflected jarate, it would be thrower's allies that are coated right?

src

This would make Pyro decimate HL and be a fucking god on last point Sixes. It would be a massive failure of a rebalance. So, it's par the course for nu-Valve.

>>>>>>Pyro
>>>>>>Decimate
>>>>>>HL
Holy fuck at least make an attempt to play the game before posting about it.
Even with all those changes Pyro wouldn't hold a candle to Sniper or Heavy.

Burn now does over 50 damage and is no longer instantly removed by most healing sources, meaning someone even tagged by a burn needs a Medic. Pyro is now way more mobile, and although he won't be able to shred like Heavy or Sniper, he can effectively take something like Scout out of the game until they receive healing.

>gaben's reddit AMA

>TF2
>2017

What

Good. For once, pyro has a defined use. Also lower degrees of afterburn can be treated easily, level 1 and 2 can be removed with any level of medkit, level 3 and up is where it starts to get dangerous, and a scout should NEVER be burned for long enough to get higher than level 3. If they are that means the Pyro earned the kill.

Once again, spies utterly and absolutely BTFO

>Jarate
>Use it on allies
>Coated allies take mini-crits for up to 8 seconds.
Holy fuck, this is retarded, pyro can get rid of it and milk effects.

hey wait a second none of this is true you fibber

Fucking this. TF2 used to be very basic and easy to read to facilitate fast gameplay. All this extra shit just bogs down everything into a numbers game. You might as well play an RPG at this point.

>jarate your teammates

>they fucking die

Fuck you Valve
