I basically never pirate. The last game I pirated was Mass Effect 3, which I also own. EA's servers were down so I couldn't play my legitimate disc copy (I say disc, but it still makes me download it to install it), so I decided to get a cracked, superior version. Which made me think I should do that for all of EA's games, since you can get a superior copy by stealing it.

But then, I hardly play any EA games.

I usually pirate console exclusives when I don't own the console. I'm perfectly fine buying games if they are available natively for PC.

those are my only reasons, but reasoning on game previews also works too 90% of the time,

I rarely pirate. When I do, it's because I'm highly suspicious of the hype leading to launch. I'm really glad I did that instead of paying sixty dollars American for No Man's Sky, for instance.

I got used to it, living in ex-commie country, there was nothing in the past. I got a PS 1 from my dad because he was in germany. Getting games and equipment? Nope, only way to get something is to pirate a CD. Same for Pc games, there was just no service/shop at all in big cities to buy games, so everyone just pirated them. Good examples are CS 1.6 or WC3. There was no shop in my town that sells these games, so what can I do? Play non steam and wc3 on garena
