The power of using a fucking Tegra because you want a retarded portable console gimmick

For the umpteenth time, it doesn't look like that in person.

What's wrong with thin fog, again?

I don't care? The reality of the situation is no one is autistic about older games being mechanical better than newer games as long as the game is still good. That has yet to be seen with Zelda, but whining about draw distance or graphical fidelity seem idiotic to me

t. Idort

>2006 hardware

It was also 480p with no anti aliasing you mongaloid

>its ok when Sony does it
:^)

>Cant go with a foggy atmosphere without graphicsfags going on a rampage

wew lad

Both tHose games were on nintendo consoles tho

>Switch is too weak to have unnecessarily intrusive UIs
Thank you Based God of Irony.

>not even trying to hide that the xenoblade pictures are from dolphin

This is pretty good bait.

Cherry picking

...

The left side is heavily modded and running on a computer, the right side is Youtube capture from a very unfinished game that now looks a lot better.

Whew, that was easy.

I still think Xenoblade has a better art style and more interesting environments though.

>Wii U
>2016 hardware

HMMMMM REALLY MAKES ME THINK this is yet another Sonygger bait thread because they have no games to play on the ps4

BOTW would look just fine without the crazy intense fog on everything more than 10m from the camera. Many newer games seem to make this mistake.

So are there people on this board dumb enough to fall for images like this? They are becoming so frequent its pretty insane.

You can't

Mobile GPU chips are not meant for consoles but Nintendo thinks otherwise

Sup, sonypony

>Making a retort against an argument is now "deflection."

Hahaha who makes this shit

Nintendo fell for the Nvidia meme and now the games for the next 5 years will pay the price.

> someone took time to make this picture
> other people waste space saving it

Not quite sure which is sadder

Fuck nintendo fans are deluded as fuck damn

Xenoblade isn't a seamless openworld

You gave him a reply, so it already did its job retard.

I could care less if nintendo succeeds or fails, their games are only great once in a blue moon, but your opinion is trash if you thing little things like this are what decides if a game is good or bad.

This. I'm pretty confident nintendo is naive and didn't do adequate amount of testing. Nvidia probably tricked them

Faggot like you actually bothering with it.

>I could care less

you haven´t made a proper screenshot

Neither of my responses were either of those now answer the question. What is actually wrong with thin fog? It's not draw distance fog, it's actual fog. What's the problem here?

Defend this.

Left is from an emulator
Right is from a video not at it's maximum settings and lazily copy-pasted

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - 2017 Tr…: youtu.be/AlVgurnAy64

Look again fagot the game has amazing graphics and an amazing soundtrack.

They have already sent a precedent for this. When's the last time a mainline Nintendo console was up to par technically with it's competitors? They've changed their modus opreandi and should be judged by that instead because it is sometimes equally as bad when compared to the Sony and Microsoft plan. When's the last time Nintendo delivered on it's promise of good-quality unique experiences?

What is wrong with this mechanic? Also why is this image and images like OPs spammed on this board everyday?

Wait, so we Assassin's Creed now?

>falling for bullshots again

Reporting this thread for blatant shitposting and lying; Xenoblade is being emulated and upscaled
The same way BotW will be on Cemu

>dur dur you made a spelling mistake so your argument is invalid!!!

Defend this,

>"Fogging" is another use of distance fog in mid-to-late 1990s games, when processing power was not enough to render far viewing distances.
If nintendo had the choice they wouldnt use this technique at all. This isn't volumetric fog, this is a very cheap solution to hide ugly geometry that's clipping in the background.

How did the retard who made this image stretch the aspect ratio on the bottom image? I get its from a stream at 480p but how did they even manage that?

>Comparing Dolphin Xenoblade rips with downscaled screenshots off a youtube video

It's bait, just like whoever has been spamming these threads ever since that Zelda trailer dropped
