Anyone else here just hoard video games for no reason? I have 821 games on steam as well as 500+ physical copies of games. I have cleared or even played less than 50% and yet I keep buying more. I don't know why this is but seeing as there's people on Steam with thousands of games, it doesn't make me feel as bad.
Anyone else here just hoard video games for no reason...
It's called collecting, OP
I assumed everyone here was autistic enough to do that. I mean, we all love video games, right?
I also own somewhere between 400 and 500 physical games, although the difference is I only have like three Steam games because it doesn't appease my hoarder instincts.
It's called cancer.
No, it's hoarding.
I hope your house burns down, you hoarding faggot. Nothing says "I am a virgin" like a room full of plastic toys and CDs.
I do that too. Mostly just games that I can get for basically free, but at least i try to play everything that I get.
>ever selling or trading your video games
>buying less than two or three games a month
Anyone who actually likes video games and isn't dirt poor is gonna naturally build up a pretty big collection.
And if you don't like video games, I have no idea why you're here.
I pirate everything because I'm not a retarded manbaby.
Keep buying 'cause it's a fact that games may no longer be on sale, even removed permanently for being sold forever. Also, you never know when you'll be in the mood for a certain game, might as well have it ready to play.
So on top of bringing your piss to a boil over the fact that other people collect video games, you're also poor and/or don't actually like video games enough to support (at the very least) your favorite developers.
Well you do you, I guess.
I'm not poor specifically because I don't waste money on children's toys.
>I mean, we all love video games, right?
Speak for yourself. I fucking hate video games.
What's your favorite video game user?
Dark Souls
I don't really collect physical games, they take up too much space. I have boxes full of NES, SNES, Sega Genesis and Atari 2600 games back at my parent's house somewhere, they're probably worth a decent amount of money now. I do have over 1000 games on Steam. Digital hoarding is the only way to go if you're going to hoard at all.
at least you'll always have something to play op
I can tell you why you do this.
harding and/or collecting is just a substitute for the lack of love.
you do this, because deep down you're experiencing a lack of love/satisfaction.
once you find that - love/satsifaction - you'll notice that collecting and hoarding was a huge waste of time and money.
In 2016 I feel like I reached a nadir of buying games and then never getting around to playing them.
I bought Watch_Dogs 2 while still playing through the original, I bought Panzer Dragoon Saga for PRICE CENSORED and didn't start it, I got God of War III Remastered and Star Wars Battlefront on PSN Flash Sale and did nothing with them.
Iunno man, a ton of my happily(?) married friends still collect and hoard shit. One even has an entire room dedicated to model trains that cost more than I earn in a week a pop.
Sounds like armchair armchair psychiatry to me.
letme guess
$200?
also is this a thread to post collections? because i should post collections
What are the rarest games you have, anons?
