I'm buying Wipeout Collection and maybe Nier when it's on sale next Christmas.

My PS4 is going to just be a Planetside 2/FFXIV machine when I'm not on the road with my laptop. This year is going to my Switch and hopefully the Scorpio if their E3 is good enough.

I never understood why people buy a shit ton of games on release day, only to play them one at a time and have their backlog grow every month. Especially PS4 games, they drop in price 2-3 months after release, why pay $60 on release if you don't play it at that moment?

I can't say I'm really excited for anything but Persona 5. There are plenty of decent games coming out but nothing to get me hyped.

It also plays the best out of all of them so if you start with the latest and greatest you won't be able to go back to the originals. The whole point of these games is that every new one builds on the advancements the previous one made.

I even thought GravityRush2 would last about the same as the first, but nope, it takes 4 to 5x the time to complete and I keep getting announcements about treasure hunts and whatnot which I get distracted by, making the game even longer. I never expected to spend 70+ hours on this game jesus christ
