a lot of people hate sunshine tho
I agree, but even so it's the worse 3d Mario. it's unfinished as fuck.
Fuck off
Sunshine is the GOAT of 3D Mario games
Galaxy is too linear and 64 is good, but not as good as Sunshine
I dare you to find a flaw
>I dare you to find a flaw
too much blue coin hunting
barely any platforming
easy as piss outside of a few minigame-like challenge segments
FLUDD was garbage and slowed down the game
worse controls than 64
most of the game is spent in the hub area since there's so few actual levels
...
too linear and barren world
Best Sonic game ever
it's the least linear in the series, apart from ALBW
This
Literally everyone who has played Wind Waker loves it
...
much better than 64, which is shit. take off your baby goggles, faggots.
...
I like it. I just feel it was unfinished. Too many stars were blue coin prizes. It seemed it was last minute fluff.
that game has worse controls than trying to play 64 with your dads dick in your mouth
>Galaxy is too linear
This and MK:DD are top tier kart games
>barely any platforming
This. Sunshine is a classic case of DK64 syndrome; shitty platforming-to-gimmicks ratio. You know there's a problem when the most praised parts of the game are the ones that take the gimmick away.
Excellent taste. Literally a Sonic Adventure game with all the shit parts of 1 and 2 removed.
I'm at the beggining but this game is Amazing!
(Posting the japanese cover cause why not)
The voice clips during levels almost single-handedly killed it. SHIT ROCK SHIT ROCK SHIT ROCK I'LL TAKE IT FROM HERE WHOOP WHOOP WHOOP. Special stages were pretty janky too.
>nobody mentioned Paper Mario
People sometimes prefer one over the other
but there's nobody who hates Pikmin 1 AND 2
...
...
Really good licensed game and a great game for fans of the source material
...Did you even PLAY Sonic Heroes?
It plays nothing like a Sonic Adventure game.
I think that's exactly what his post is implying dude.
...
Yes, I played the fuck out of it and thank god it doesn't.
Bought a copy of fzero gx that comes in the mail today.
I need a good racing game in my life again.
Fuck you.
you first, Sunshine is a piece of shit
The best hidden gem on the system IMO.
They had to release an HD remake to fix their objectively shitty game and it's arguable whether or not they succeeded.
My favorite hidden gem is this game
Hardly anyone played this amazing game
My friends and I played this shit way more than Melee if you can believe it
>tfw copies are extremely expensive and rare
Do I have shit taste if I only liked Episode 3?
...
i played this game again recently and it's ripping me a new asshole
Was it always this hard? Or have my vidya skill and reflexes dulled in my old age?
The in-con T65 X-Wing is the fighter that killed the Death Star. An almost perfect balance of speed, maneuverability, and defensive shields makes this the fighter of choice for Rogue Squadron, except when the mission profile disallows it. In addition to four blaster canons, the X-Wing can carry a number of Proton Torpedoes. It’s powered by four fusial thrust engines, and requires an onboard astro-mech droid for peak performance.
Sunshine is just pure frustration.
Animal Crossing was the best game on the system.
...
>Linear = bad
I don't understand this meme.
I wanted this game when I saw it in Nintendo Power but I never saw it in any store and they'd never even heard of it
I unironically love this more than its crappy sequel.
Fuck Canadians.
Nitro Kart is the WORST
Nah its actually a pretty hard game with some utter bullshit missions
Theres a ton of different points in the game where the difficulty just curves to a crazy degree, like the watermellons or the special stages
Its probably the hardest 3D mario game released
It fixed minor flaws like the wind waker animation being too long as well as the grappling hook being too long. The bottle thing is neato too
If you're going to play a linear game you might as well play Crash Bandicoot since it's better at than than 3D Marios.
...
I fucking loved this game. Had it for both OG xbox and a gamecube I recently bought. It's God like.
>tfw lucky enough to play this with 2 other friends locally with GBA
All Mario games are easy as fuck though, except for the real SMB2.
the only people who hate sunshine haven't actually played it
I'm going to have to agree on this one. It's the only game I have re-bought out of nostalgia, and it still feels fantastic to play.
Kirby Air Ride
:'( there will never be a sequel
And, you know, doubling the terribly slow sailing speed and cutting the Tingle shit by over half.
Vanilla Wind Waker is garbage.
Fuck, now the memories of the watermelon mission are coming back to me. You just had to remind me of that didn't you? I was trying to get rid of that memory
Love Sunshine, but that's probably the worst mission in the main game
While I love this game, am I the only one who noticed that it was a short game?
My nigga.
1&2 were great.
How has no one posted this? It's literally in my top 3 fav games of all time, if not my favorite.
your gay and a retard
>Vanilla Wind Waker is garbage.
The only people who like it are GameCube babies
64 is superior
Yes
yes
not that it's a bad game, but if it's the only one you like, yes you have shit taste
Love that game
Anyone love Rawk Hawk? He's the best and has a great music track to boot
>And the original
...
possibly the best shooter of all time
I remember loving this game and thinking it had a lot of personality. The best character was that guy who made a Mega Man reference
It was short though, which was sad, because I wanted more. Only game in the series I actually played
64 is superior, but that doesn't mean you have to HATE Sunshine.
One of the Rebellion's most well-armed star fighters, The B-Wing, has been personally designed by Admiral Ackbar.
The B-Wing supports an array of weapons including ion cannons, proton torpedo launchers, and laser cannons.
Because the cockpit is surrounded by a unique gyro-stabilization system, the pilot always remains stationary, even as the rest of the ship rotates during flight.
>Cool game
>Short as fuck, specially compared to the other 3D Mario games
While WWHD improved a lot of the gameplay, the artstyle is still better in the original.
It's not a short game. There's 4 long mansions
user, this isn't a matter for debate, if you could call green text with a web comic a response.
Wind Waker HD is a decent game that vastly improved the Gamecube version. Therefore, objectively, the Gamecube version is terrible.
I think you're thinking of the sequel. The original only has 1 mansion.
Smb3 is pretty hard with all those water levels. Lost levels is self explanatory
It came out right as I was entering college. I didn't like it nearly as much as 64, and never even bothered finishing it.
I get sick of nintendo gimmicks, the best part were those platforming levels with no water pack.
Yeah, but it has 4 long areas
Mario 3 is the hardest if you consider the 2D era
>portrait ghosts haven't returned on the sequel
I am still salty
THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST
lol are you fucking retarded? games get remasters because they're well regarded and popular thus likely to sell well.
This was a fun game
On a side note, how is the online game of EEnE
eternal darkness is the goat gamecube game and we'll never get anything like it again because nintendo makes games exclusively for actual toddlers now
>Look at all those Eggman's robots!
>Whoooaaa... my head's spinning!
Get it together thread
sunshine just feels weird and i think i want to blame it all on fludd
i like the movement options, but fucking is cleaning shit isn't fun
I was talking about the first one.
...
last time i logged in was 2 months ago and the servers were pretty dead, guess the last update made a lot of people leave
...
The first game isn't short either
...
>Best Sonic game ever
That's going a little too far, but it was pretty good.
The controls were weirdly fucked from Sonic Adventure 1 and 2.
Best Level design of any SA styled game
Giving enemies health was a mistake
Not having to suffer the shit alternative styles of SA1 and 2 was a huge point in it's favor
Companies release remasters because people are dumb enough to buy them, not because the game was necessarily good.
Besides, "well regarded" on a Nintendo system isn't any measure of quality when there are only a handful of games in their library in the first place. You can always assume that a game's actually quality is a notch below what the Nintendo fan said because they had no other games to compare it with. Certainly I didn't realize how bad the game was until I owned other systems.
I would play city mode for hours with my 3 cousins.
