Are the few people that own a Vita also going to be picking up the Switch?

Are the few people that own a Vita also going to be picking up the Switch?

Owner of an unusable vita that corrupts every memory card put into it here, no.

Only if the Switch turns into the next go-to handheld for weebshit.

I'll eventually get one for No More Heroes 3, but the sooner it wants to become Vita 2.0 the sooner I'll be sincerely interested.

it's literally a money destroying device

I picked up the vita fairly late and only because it had miku so maybe not. Bomberman sounds alright though.

Got it pre-ordered.

do you see a sony logo anywhere on it?

Brand loyalism is pointless.

No, why would that matter?

no.

i might be picking up a ps4 now that IT IS where i am going to have to get my ports from japan for now on......

I have a Vita and I'm going to get a Switch, yes.

Brand loyalty is retarded and just leads to you missing games for such an arbitrary and retarded reason. It's fine if you don't like the games on the system, which is why I never got a 360 and probably won't get a Xbox One, but not buying something specifically cause of the brand is just asinine.

Yeah but I probably won't buy it at launch.

I couldn't agree more. I tend to always pick up both Nintendo and Sonys handhelds at the very least as they usually compliment each other very well.

same here

>tfw buying a PS4 after the Switch announcement

Gravity Rush 2 finally came in today, too. Gonna be all over that shit once I get off of work. Funnily enough, GR1 was the main reason why I bought my Vita in the first place.

You guys are the reason I have't left yet.
Thanks for not shitposting.

I have a Vita but I'm on the edge with the switch. Not because of the portable factor, but because I want Nintendo to show me they have their online service down.

Switch's library is 90% indie games that I've either already played or am not interested in

They're going to have to try a lot hardware to put together something worth paying $300 for

Vita owner here, of course.
It's clear I don't care to waste money, I bought a Vita for two whole games, I'll buy this for two or three.

I actually thoroughly enjoy my Vita. S It's nice to play games like MGS 2 and 3, the Sly trilogy, FFX, Persona 4, etc. on the go, plus, after missing the PSP and PS1, it is nice to catch up. I probably will pick up a Switch, but not at launch. Probably not until holiday 2017 when Zelda, MK8 Deluxe, Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, and Bomberman R are out. Hopefully by then some of the prices of the games will drop and there might be a special edition bundle for the Christmas season.

I own and Vita and will be picking up a Switch. I feel there is a follow up question.

How dumb are you? 2 of those games are out at launch, the only one that will drop in price is Super Bomberman, first party Nintendo games don't get a price drop until over a year later if ever, and Switch will not price drop in the first year.

Just get a Switch or stop being poor.

Traded mine in for a Switch because all the worthwhile games got ported over to PS4 and the homebrew scene turned into an autistic shitstorm.

I don't regret it in the slightest.

Nintendo games don't price drop man...

I can afford it but would rather wait because there isn't going to be anything at launch other than Zelda and Bomberman, and I have school so I want to wait until I have more time to play it (holiday season). I was just saying it would be nice to see what prices would drop by then too, to save some money. No need to be a cunt about it.

What do you think of the Senran Kagura guy saying he'll make us all feel TEH SOFTNESS?

>Vita owners being loyal to Sony
Literally their biggest offender, even ps4 only fags shit on Vita. It's way easier to take Nintendo's loyal children shit on a daily basis than Sony's lack of support. I love the fact that I own multiple console and they're to play primarily Japanese games, but fuck the fanbase memes. I'll probably get a switch after a revision, that's when I tend to buy my consoles. They're cheaper, the games are already out and patched, any hardware defects are fixed, and third party has already had the time to make shit for it.

He's the hero we need right now.

The only game right now I have any reason to buy is LoZ, and I own a WiiU (and a PC capable of emulating it if I can be bothered to wait long enough for stability).
New FE and SMT are promising proposals, but they've shown absolutely nothing of worth for either. New Mario game is what I've wanted for a long time - but I'm not buying a Switch for literally a single game.
Unless that game is Rune Factory 5, in which case sign me the fuck up.

It looks uncomfortable as fuck and obnoxious to play in public. Not unless No More Heroes 3 is an actual thing.

Everything this guy just said. Sony was the source of ALL of the Vita's problems.

No, why would I downgrade?

I am. My favorite part of the vita was the console like experience, and that's why I pre-ordered the switch

>HD rumble announced
>"Huh...Alright I guess"
>Mayor of hometown says the word "soft"
>mfw it finally hits me

will they be porting atelier?

No I don't think so, my buddy is returning my vita soon after he finishes p4g so ill be using it again

The Switch is pretty much designed to recapture the Japanese market, so probably.

>tfw own both a Vita and a 3DS
>love both especially after I set up homebrew for both of them
>enjoy playing on handhelds more than my gaming PC most of the time

I really hope Sony doesn't drop out of the handheld race, the Vita had a really bad start that stuck with it for the longest time.
