They knew whatever online service they made would be bad, so they hired DeNA (one of the biggest online service providers of Japan) to make it.

LOL" why is it a smartphone app and not on the console? Also why is it a problem that it's a smartphone app for you guys? I'm fine with it, since it just means plugging in my headphones into another device instead, but I guess it's annoying that I won't be able to hear the fucking game that's my only problem. Are there any other problems with this? Keep in mind you get the app free with the online you pay for and you don't need to pay for both separately

Honestly the solution would be putting 4G on the Switch, but that would drive the costs up.

What I do have a problem with is paying for NINTENDO'S online services. Shit like this shows they have no idea how to make a decent service, along with only getting to rent a NES game for a month. They're probably going to keep using their shitty dial-up servers for games as well.

Doesn't really matter though, this is a Nintendo handheld we're talking about. It'll be hacked in 2 weeks and we'll have a way to bypass paid online in the same month it releases
