Bethesda put random HD shots in the Switch trailer but they hadn't started working on it. That's because they wanted to see what they could get away with and they wanted to delay the release of Skyrim Switcharoo for close to the Holiday season when the install base is higher.
If the Switch is projected for more than 5m sales by spring 2018 they'll fix at least a few bugs. If the Switch is projected for closer to 10m by spring 2018 they'll include joycon motion controls and some exclusive features. If the Switch is projected to do less than 4m by holiday 2017 they'll put in the minimum effort for a really shitty port to be patched later.
