>game has bullet drop and delay
Game has bullet drop and delay
Hunting games and the Sniper Elites, what else?
So learn to physics. Can't let the game play itself for you.
Tribes
>hitscan babbu
get good or get fucked
>game has shoot sound delay
This
>so if I'm this far and the target is that distant, how much more upwards do I need to point my gun to hit the target?
I play shooters to have fun, not do fucking math. Let me guess, you think "games" like ARMA are fun?
>tfw grew up with games where bullets are actual projectiles
>always fuck up in hitscan games because I instinctively shoot at where the target's going to be
Is that a JoJo reference?
>game has projectile and not hitscan
So play a smartphone shooter you fucking faglord
No its a bobobo reference
counterstrike babby*
Leading your target and accounting for gravity is required when you throw a ball. You're essentially saying throwing a ball takes math skills.
r u me?
>game has bullet drop and delay
>the bullets start dropping at 3 feet and move slow as fuck
>being weirdos who can't adapt to whichever form the character or gun you're using takes
>Game has bullet drop and delay
Hype as fuck for Sniper Elite 4
>bullets conforming to/disregarding laws of physics is dependant on character/gun
extra layer of cancer
It does, but it's natural math skills, instincts from when we wuz hunters n sheeit
it requires a little practice and skill, not busting out a calculator and some scratch paper
this user is being silly for (You)s
subconscious calculations are very different from consciously doing equations. You knew exactly what I was saying and are just being pedantic.
If you want to get real pedantic about it, just sitting upright in your chair takes "natural math skills". Some people would even say that our universe's existence is an expression of mathematics.
Estimating where to aim a gun in a shooter requires no more mathematical skill than any other skill required for a video game, so it's not even worth bringing up as a reason as to why you don't like the mechanic.
good discussion, thx
