Some people really do have much worse anxiety symptoms than others. So much so that it actually prevents them from functioning. But those people can get drugs to lessen the effects. I doubt neither Matt or Liam seeked out actual medical help for their "condition".

I don't think how stressful being a LPer is. You constantly have to balance keeping your audience happy while also trying to reel in new people. You have to play games that you don't want to game, and faking positivity and hamming it up eats you up inside each new episode. My channel has been stuck in 800k subs for over two years and I struggle every day to not lose my audience while desperately trying to get new people to watch my videos. Won't say who I am because reasons :^)

Still beats any 9-5 job, but it's perhaps more stressful due to the dedication you have to put in.

Also, from personal experience, maybe working with his friends wasn't the best thing for him. I worked with a friend of mine for roughly three years, and our relationship was far better when I left my job and we hung out in non-work related environments.
