Y-you OP...
Peach shows that you can be a girl, can wear a big poofy pink flowery dress, and still get things done just as well as anyone else. You don't need to change yourself into a purple-haired bluejean pink-hating tomboy in order to do action things. You can be and stay as girly as you'd like and still accomplish what you want in life.
Daisy shows that you can be loud, brash, active, outgoing, assertive, focused, action-oriented, and willing to take action even while still wearing a dress and looking cute. It isn't just the pink dress-wearing submissive princess and the rough butch outgoing tomboy in the t-shirt. It can be the pink dress-wearing outgoing tomboy as well.
Rosalina is freakin' huge.
>and still get things done just as well as anyone else
Not since the Universe Reset. And her RPG competence is not canon, anyway. Most unfortunate.
>Rosalina is freakin' huge.
Fuck you for making me post this.
Rosalina shows you can find purpose in life from the ashes of your mistakes and sorrow, and are never too young for personal agency in the pursuit of meaning. She is a role model for everyone who has ever suffered through a death of a loved one.
celestia
who are you
bump
>why are you so freakin huge
Because gigantic women is an awesome fetish
Rosalina isn't a princess though
She's a godess
>Universe Reset
What? Is this some kind of bullshit about the Galaxy ending and attempting to apply it to some sort of universal Mario canon?
Video games don't act like superhero comic book. Mario video games, especially, only have the loosest connection between each other. Nobody plays Peach in Mario Kart 8 or Super Mario 3D World and comments "I liked Peach much better back in the SMB2 days, before the Wii era rebooted the canon and removed that from her backstory."
The biggest problem with Rosalina's story is that we don't see it happen. We just hear about it in retrospect. You could say that Peach going from kidnap victim to starring heroine is something that she has done herself, because it's something that the player actually played through. Rosalina going from a sad child to devoting your life to something is far less impactful, because rather than controlling the character and actually taking them from the crying child into someone caring for Lumas, instead we just see Rosalina standing around and listen to a storytime about what happened at some point.
Although, hey. If she connects with you in some way, no problems in associating with her.
Show me the game where the player plays as a kidnapped Peach and she saves herself without anyone's help.
>the Koopalings are no longer Bowser's children
>Cranky Kong is alive
Ain't bullshit, mate.
Not exactly what you're asking for, but in Super Princess Peach she saves Mario and Luigi.
Paper Mario has her constantly breaking out of her room, tricking enemies, and getting important information back to Mario.
Although perhaps isn't the best example. I think everyone was hoping in Paper Mario, and Thousand Year Door, that we'd have a section with Peach where she would just successfully walk out the front door and meet up with Mario on her own.
Exactly. You pulled that comment out of your ass and all Peach has ever had was a mediocre game where she relies on her emotions of all things. And before you say Paper Mario, it came down to Mario in the end.
