The Wonderful 101

Since the WiiU's time is slowly drawing to a close, I feel like I might as well confess something.

This is the best game for the system by a longshot, nothing comes close.

I'd say Dong Freeze is the closest but even then I much prefer W101.

You're totally right. I played this game before Bayonetta and I didn't liked it that much in comparison with TW101. I haven't palyed Bayonetta 2 yet but I don't think that it will defeat TW101 from the top. My personal list top ten:

1. The Wonderful 101
2.Super Mario Maker
3.Mario Kart 8
4.Nintendoland (with friends is awesome)
5.Super Smash Bros for Wii U (content in 3DS is better)
6.Super Mario 3D World
7.Splatoon (it is a really good game, but I feel that died too fast. Doesn't have a good local multiplayer and campaign is short af. Good final boss anyway).
8.Pikmin 3
9.Game and Wario (I know that many people think this is a mediocre/bad game, but I really have very good times with this game)
10.NSMBU/NSLU

Bayonetta is not on the list because is not an exclusive and, as I said before, I haven't played Bayonetta 2 yet.

It and Splatoon are hard to choose between.

You're really digging shallow if you think any NSMB game other than the Wii one belongs in a best games list for their respective systems.

Good taste all around, but XCX is my personal favourite on the console. I know it has a fuckton of flaws, but love a lot about it.

What are the chances of a Switch port? It's one of the few reasons I'm holding on to my Wii U.

Slim to none. The game didn't move very exciting numbers on the Wii U to begin with, and I doubt Nintendo would have enough confidence to justify them having go in and rework the game to work on one screen so that they could rerelease it.

Tried the demo, it was garbage. Not surprised it flopped.

Out of all the games I've played definitely. That said, I haven't played dong freeze so who knows.

Literally the only thing Bayo2 has over Bayo1, besides graphics.

And combat, soundtrack, and boss design.

If you even give a shit about the QTEs anymore you've only played at a surface level. Bayo 1 is vastly more refined, I'll take that in exchange for a few shitty QTEs any day.

Those definitely sucked, and no one defends them, but at its core Bayonetta 1 is a better designed game from a combat perspective. Bayonetta 2 relies far too much on Witch Time.

It's a toss up between Xenoblade X and W101 as far as best Wii U game go for me.

Enemy design in general is better in Bayo 2, not surprising since the director was the enemy designer for Bayo 1.

Maybe it's more of a mechanical issue but the way the enemies require witch time is retarded. Bayo 1 has better enemies because they're not built around witch time. Sloth and Valiance are fucking great though.

Enemies in Bayo 2 only parry when they're about to attack, you can see when they'll parry you attack and focus on a different one or hold the attack button and wait for the attack to do a dodge offset
