The new Director seems to be doing good with how he's done with RtDL, TD, and PR. So I want him to keep doing what he's doing.

Kirby's Avalanche sequel, or put the asshole Kirby in an actual Kirby game.

That'd be nice but after three mainline games in a row with forced gimmicks taking the center stage instead of meaningful innovations I don't see that happening any time soon.

I'll take another Return to Dreamland, or possibly a 3D console superstar 2. Basically I just want co-op to come back because it's fun as hell.

As it stands, these fuckshits plus the fact that the Robobot did little more than Super Abilities/Hypernova just fucked it over.

I want a non spin off Kirby game that isn't on the 3ds. I like those, but I want one that's more like Return to Dreamland.

At least the games are still solidly made, but there's just none of the spark the older games had. Stuff like Copy Abilities, Animal Friends, mixes, or Super Star's heavily varied movesets change how you approach the entire game, and they naturally work. But all the recent games just work off the Super Star formula with more Adventure like stage progression plus specific sections where you bust out the game's big gimmick.

A 3D jump could be perfect, but I don't see them going through with it.

I couldn't stand the animal friends in the games that they were in. I found them boring and I thought they took away from the experience. I'm glad they're gone.

They tried that and we ended up with Returns to Dreamland.

It's easier and arguably has worse backgrounds since a lot of the foreground and background lining up that happened in the original or things like rotation buildings don't happen in NiDL. It does have co-op, though.

It's a remake with better graphics, just looked it up.

Call it The Greater Cave Offense.

Similar to blue magic in final fantasy, though presumably with more limitations. You'd maybe have a certain amount of abilities you could copy at once, or get limited uses of them based on which enemies you swallowed and how many.

Protag is waddle dee, other characters are various kirby enemies you can recruit.
Kirby is the final boss, and he eats your party members.

I really want them to give Amazing Mirror's formula another shot. Now that we have wifi and the technology, I'd say a Multiplayer Kirby Metroidvania would be fun. It could also be a really damn cool co-op speedrun game.

Not the point.

They were fluff, needless. It's not like they formed the Star Rod or anything, they're an arbitrary "block" (hardly) keeping you from getting to the boss under this new director, that's all they do.

It's not like reassembling the Star Rod/Rainbow Sword/Love-Love Rod/Fairy Crystal. Yes, those last three did get a little monotonous, but they contributed to the lore and were actually tricky to get, not participation trophies. And there were far fewer to collect.

They're just mindless, that's the issue.

Perhaps, but MK has always been an extreme kind of guy. He's an honourable knight and He's always fought for the right thing, but takes it way overboard. He's also always on the lookout for strong oppenents to fight in fair combat if Meta Knightmare ULtra and his interactions with Kirby are anything to go by.

I don't think in Revenge of MK he was targeting Dedede specificilly or anything...Come to think of it, I don't think those two even have many interactions in the series proper. Kind of a wasted opportunity actually.
