It's really goofy and cheesy but really, it's Mortal Kombat, so who cares. I remember Scorpion was pretty lame tho, the hell was up with that CGI snake thingy that came out of his hand? They could definitely have used those characters better.
Mortal Kombat 2 was aparently really bad, but I don't think I know anyone who has actually watched it.

Prince of Persia is a surprisingly great movie. It's not a masterpiece, but it is fun and competent. It's also relevant enough to the source material to feel like an adaptation even if it is a loose one.
