Speedrunning belongs to the unfortunate. It shows up alongside lots of other unfortunate fates and activities.
Replaying a game to the point of ruining it is more of a hideout than an exploration of life, even if you get views on youtube/twitch, top scores, whatever cred. There are too many better ways to spend your time than to speedrun, even immersing yourself in a mediocre game is better than replaying the best game for the 40th time.
