I want a new Yugioh Online, not this handicapped ygopro shit

This is as pro as it gets man

Until Fire Emblem Heroes comes out

no just give me a new mmo type experience like ygo online, that was actually fun

Its watered down garbage

Explain

>gems
>chests
>daily login rewards
>pay4deck
No thanks

Does it have the latest cards?

/thread
just play the fucking mobile version of ygopro

>he doesn't bring his deck around with him to challenge people on the street.

All those make for a good mobile game, and you don't have to pay anything.

The gripes for mobile gaming I have. Sayonara mobile gaming, suckers. I ain't playing until you fully embrace true gaming material.

That is the wave of the future.

Nobody pays for mobile apps, just compare the two shadowguns on play store, one only has hundred thousand players the other has tens of millions

Tons of people (idiots) pay for mobile apps.

>no synchro
>no xyz
>no pendulum

>287889 ▶
>>no synchro
>>no xyz
>>no pendulum

Wut

I started playing just today, have no idea of what I'm doing

can I fuck that bitch tea in the ass

Once you unlock Pegasus you can see all.

>no synchro/xyz
stop living in the past grandpa

Why even fucking bother then?

Because true duelists trust in the heart of the cards and don't need to rely on that shit to win.

These are all good things, though.

Face it man, yugioh in its current state is stale at best, and a fucking joke in all honesty. The whole game boils down to either a blowout first turn thats impossble to beat, or a complete wash as you set up to negate every possible move your opponent can make. The game lacks real strategy and is just too convoluted to be of any interest to anyone who hasn't been playing the game for years.

Yugioh needs a fresh take in order for its app to have a point, and changing the rules in order to have of all the useless cards they printed in the beginning actually make sense is a smart idea.

It's perfect for nostalgiafags like me who don't want to accept the complicated shit happened.

No Exodia triggers me though.

Many, many people have fond memories of playing yugioh as a child, and by the time they were old enough to really grasp the game, synchro/xyz bullshit made it seem way too complicated to be any fun. It practically wasn't even the same game to them at that point, so why learn to play it at all?

This game is meant to take yugioh and make the most out of the cards it first printed by altering the rules to better suit them, rather than just copy ygopro or make a lackluster version of Hearthstone like MTG did.

Players that want to simulate the current meta can just play devpro anyway, so this app just provides a fun little alternative. The current meta is boring as fuck anyway.

>No Exodia

FUUUUUUUUUUUCK

I mean, he is the forbidden one..

This sounds great
I won't play it since I'm not 13 any more but man, that's the way it was meant to be played.

Wait... did you just state that MtG copied heartstone

Too nostalgia pandering and boring. Its literally streamlined for casuals Yugioh.
Who wants to play old trash when Dinosaurs are finally good motherfucker I cant wait for April so I can finally play my nigga Laggia again. Got my Ultis ready to go.

Cause I'm playing dokkan instead.

>mfw the only card game I ever played was Duel Masters
How I get into card games Sup Forums? Yu-gi-oh? Gwent? Heartstone? MtG? Shadowverse?

Out of those, shadowverse.

But i am.

I feel you bro. I used to play ygopro several hours a day a few months ago and I'd insta quit everyone playing pendulums because I refuse to accept that shit as a new mechanic.
They could've just come up with a new monster breed like they did with tuners or gemini and have that special summoning gimmick but they had to butcher the fucking game.
I've accepted synchros and xyz as good dynamic fusion summons but that shit is over the line

I dont like TCG games, they are boring

I wouldnt even go near hearthstone, the game just has too much RNG for its own good. Any of the other options you mentioned are decent.

Shadowverse, if you're not afraid to go outside on fridays MtG

Pendulum are literally the worst mechanic of the later seasons.
Every good pendulum deck was only good cause of high consistancy enabling cards. Every pendulum deck without tons of searches gets BTFO by basic shit. Every pen deck that loses its main searcher bombs hard right after cause the mechanic is really easy to counter.
Pen summon into a single Warning or Strike and you lose.

I like them but the rules and card editions seem to change based on nothing.
There has to be limited card number but huge variety so the players can really trade cards and have stakes when playing.
That BUY BOOSTER PACK FOR $20 doesnt cut it

shadowverse senpai; dont become a blizzcuck

Guess, I'll try Shadowverse and see if I can get the hang of it.

Look at this edgy fucking Dinosaur and tell me it isnt the tightest shit.
Dinosaurs finally got the monster they deserved.

this triggers the nostalgiafags

Yeah man. Magic: Duels. Free to play, pay to win. Its on Steam right now.

The soundtrack is actually pretty good.

Right now they throw 40 or so free packs to new players. You can also reroll on the mobile version till you get enough legendaries to make good decks. I think even one of the current top tier decks is really cheap to make(aggro blood) so its really helpful to new players.

No, yugioh makes me headache, is So confuse now

I fucking love this card.
I use it in Metalfoe Yang Zing. Probably the most common of my non mandatory techs after Speedroid OTK sword.

>Dinosaurs are finally good.
>When you're clearly posting a Dragon.

I hope you realize that MtG had duels of the planeswalkers and modo long before that shit

Is it better than this though?

youtube.com/watch?v=1hVvM02xz58

Start with doing the tutorials (will give you a lot of free stuff and a unique card for each craft/deck).
Also you get free boosters at the start, decide what you wsnt to play and liquify the crap you don't need, this should allow you to make 2 competitive decks.
Also take your time learning the game instead of jumping into ranked

Just posting Laggia cause I'm excited to use him again.
I used to play Evol cause it was the closest thing to a playable Dino deck Konami ever made. I tried to play Jurrac and the old dino structure but they both sucked complete ass.

Is the mobile version and steam version linked or something?

You can link from one to the other if you want. Theres an option to do that in game.

HI GUYS I'M HERE TO SAVE SPYRALS

I like going full edge with Red Eyes based decks myself, though that's mostly because I prefer the simplicity of it.
Just basically stack dragons and you're golden.

I don't remember what it was called, but there was a vampire deck that was really fun too.

MAKE NORMALS GREAT AGAIN

>when people think high star count monsters hold some value

>HE HASN'T SEEN THE SUPREMASEA OF THE GOAT

but they do
Well, if you're Level 8 that is

I just started playing Red-Eyes actually.
I enjoy them but I probably wont be investing into getting Return of the Dragon Lords since its just a casual deck.

Guys, is Legacy of the Duelist on PS4 any good? I think I saw it on the PSN sale, or at least relatively cheap out of a sale.

>Get to play based Gagagigo thanks to Spiral support
Cant wait till he comes out in TCG. Already got a lot of the non-themed shit I'd wanna run.

Yeah, but those were like, actual games, with premade deck piles and stuff you would customize. Duels is a straight out f2p build-your-own-metabullshit-deck thing.

Its worth a shot if youre sick of Cockatrice or something

I mean people call it the next great game but in all honesty there is so much shit you will get lost in it.
if you are like me and beat Kaiba the Revenge as a kid than is very confusing.
Also there are too many DLC shit i dont even know what they do.

>not on pc

make traps and equips great first

>This game is meant to take yugioh and make the most out of the cards it first printed by altering the rules to better suit them
How does this game alter the rules?

Eternal seems alright. Looks a lot like hearthstone but is more along the lines of MtG in openness. Which makes sense since it's made by MtG players.
No class/color locking and you can mix colors as you want.

I mostly just wanted a Yugioh game to play.
The new stuff seems simple enough, just means I've gotta read a lot more to play.

I was more wondering whether it's got good gameplay with a lot of cards and now that you mention DLC, whether the cards are locked behind paywalls.

Im playing it now and have been having fun with it. They slowly introduce the new mechanics throughout the story from each of the shows. Doesnt feel overly complicated because of that. I literally have never played yugioh up until playing legacy of the duelist and have been enjoying it.

Shadowverse and HEX were made by MtG players.
Heartstone was inspired by MtG.
Pokemon and Yu Gi Oh was inspired by MtG after season 0/early 1 and they decided the game needed rules (i believe they even asked WotC for help).
Issue with MtG is that all digital game versions are shit

>Shadowverse ... made by MtG players.
Was it really?

I mean, it's pretty much a straight rip of Hearthstone after all.

Sounds fine, I suppose.

Will probably buy soon then.

The creator even celebrated him placing high in a japanese grand prix by giving the playerbase free boosters a few weeks ago. You could read it in the news section .

Damn, that's pretty cool.

The only mobile card game I like is Throwdown

Imagine being so dumb, the mechanics of a childrens card game are too intimidating for you.

decks can only have between 20 and 30 cards, 3 monster slots, 3 trap slots, and duels only start with 4 cards in each hand

Characters only go up to the Battle City arc.

You faggots are clogging up the severs get off.

Because of this shit. This is like the fifth maintenance today already.

...

Protip: Don't. Unless you're willing to invest all your cash and still get shit on by RNG

>it's a bunch of nostalgia fags shitting on the current meta game for being too fast episode

Fuck off. Seriously, I wish one of you faggots would bring your crappy Yugi/.Kaiba inspired 60 card shitdeck so I can show you the true power of current yugioh and destroy you with Zoodiacs

source?

>Zoodiacs
cancer

It's because the game has over 2000000000 people and because today is pegasus event

>>pay4deck
just like a real trading card game then?

Amazing game. RATE MY DECK

WHO /america/ HERE

So I can get pegasus today cool.

Is this that gimped mobile game with only 3 monster card zones? Why the fuck would you play this?

Because its fun? You have duel generation if you want to play the real thing anyway. Just enjoy things user

>more than 20 cards
completly usuless

i like the new "deck master"m abilities.
Rocking Yugi's instant Yami field card effect.
Dark element fiend/spellcaster deck with 3 swords of dark destruction is rocking everything so far.

>buy a 10 card pack
>open 4
>game crashes
>open the game again
>i dont get the rest of th cards
>still lost 500 gens

Fuck this.
