Have you ever called a plot twist of a game way before release but no one believed you and everyone called you crazy?

One time I had a dream back in 2008 that the new animal crossing game would feature long bodies and limbs. Little did I know about the 3DS game eventually. Yuuuuup. If only I could have a dream on how to move out of my parents house.
>joke about a fake plot twist pretending to be spoiling the game
>it actually happens
>make fake spoilers to games for fun
>people end up believing them and are disappointing at the real plot
people were calling the terra=xehanort thing from BBS back when the kh2fm secret ending revealed his face
not a game but i knew wasn't evil
nobody believed me
One time I called a plot twist that nobody believed, and in the plot of the game the twist is what is eventually believed to have happened, but then it's a twist that the first twist is false.
DmC was a great example of this.
never forget Vergilsaurus
I remember everyone actually believing the devs saying Arkham Knight wasn't going to be Jason. People were crazy about shitting on anyone pointing out it was obviously going to be him. Good times.
Not me specifically but I remember all the fucking jokes about everyone being Xehanort.
Oh god it actually happened.
Tbh the devs were complete cunts for lying to hide their shit writing prerelease
Someone came up with the theory that Booker was a creation unwittingly made by Elizabeth in Bioshock Infinite. It was more interesting than what we got
>that pre-release of Sean Murray being asked if the ending of NMS is simply going to another galaxy
>"No"
Sort of.
In 2014 I predicted that Nintendo's next console would have paid online.
I'll find out in 2 months. I've been calling the Decline/OoT theory since the first trailer, but it didn't really catch on back then.
The fake spoilers for Halo 5 were so much better than what actually happened.
When one of the early trailers for Super Mario Galaxy came out, I remember taking a screencap with a a distant greenish blur in the background and jokingly telling people that Luigi was confirmed.
I was right. I wish I could find the trailer it was from, it was like a one second blur.
Yes. I called Ravus was really a good guy all along doing what he did to try and save his younger sister, but everyone meme spouted me for months saying "nah durrr he's obviously just evil he doesn't care!?".
not really vidya related but I totally called that Darth Vader was gonna turn out to be Arin on Starcade.
Time machine powered by baby's tears was really close to coming true.
I did the opposite thing.
When MGSV was approaching I thought the "you're not really playing as Big Boss" was completely stupid, on par with "Chico is Quiet" and that there was absolutely positively no way it would ever happen
>tfw I knew what was gonna happen in the Heavensward story even before new patches come out and spoiled my entire FC
>No one understands that the game foreshadows so hard that it's not too difficult to grasp what's going to happen
Anyway, i got blacklisted alot because of it
Not me but someone predicted the whole plot of FFXV from the Maria/Draco opera in FF6 before XV was out.
youtu.be
Not a plot twist at all but...
I am forever pissed this "leak" was so much better than what we got
>told a friend Skyward Sword ends with Zelda, Link and the people of Skyloft moving down to Hyrule, build a village with a fountain in the middle, etc. The final scene shows Link carving an ocarina out of the timeshift stones from the third temple, gives it to Zelda as a gift.
>he gets mad at me, thinking I've spoiled him about how it all comes together with OoT
>he beats the game and he was disappointed at the actual ending and preferred my fake one
I ironically said that fallout 4 was going to be fallout 3 but reversed
that was me
When I was 12/13 back in 2001 or so, I was
>That kid
And I told everyone my dad worked at Nintendo and was working on the next Pokemon games for the Game Boy Color.
I told everyone exactly what the games were going to be called, too (even though I made the title up off the top of my head): Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire.
Upon retrospect it's pretty obvious that's what they would be called, but nobody believed me, until two years later
Upon reading the basic premise of incoming Fallout 4 I've told my friends "Mark my words, your child will end up as the big bad of the game and old". And they've laughed, saying there is no way Bethesda is not going to pull such a cheap trick
Well who's laughing now, bitches?
Bump
I predicted that tf2 was going to have a third team made of robots which would make the red and blu teams have to team up a year before Man Vs. Machine came out and Sup Forums collectively called me a homo for saying something like that
Not my post, but I knew it would go there soon after release.
