Is it just me or is this shit unfairly hard at some points?

Is it just me or is this shit unfairly hard at some points?
I'm looking at you, vulture culture

nope. i don't find it hard. shit like megaman is definitely more difficult

You serious nigga?

>Vulture Culture

Shit steps up once you reach Oran-Utang Gang and then you enter hell that is Snow Barrel Blast.

Am I a shitter if I NEED to get the infinite lives thing to beat this game?

git gud

Love these games. But the poison tower in DK2 was insane for some reason

I can't remember how many lives Snow Barrel Blast took from me and my friends growing up. Though there was one fun part about it being the pre internet era

Our reaction when we discovered the shortcut by accident.

1>3>2
fite me

>3 better than 2
The fuck you smoking

>Gorilla Glacier
>Get to the save point
>Literally one level away from the boss

Why the fuck do nintentoddlers hype this game up so hard anyway?
It's garbage and it looks like hot shit.

Either
3>2=1
or
2=3>1

Is there something erroneous about his assertion? Megaman is crazy fucking difficult compared to Dankey Kang.

(You)

Because it was pretty good for it's time.

People born after 00' wouldn't understand.

My 5 years old self beat it at release without any internet, git gud.

Underaged spotted...

i've never had any trouble with any of the DKC games. a couple of deaths here and there, but thats normal for most games.

overall they are pretty casual, but can be challenging to get 100%

dk1 is very easy, 3 is moderate and 2 is the hardest one of the 3.
opinions?

I found Dankey Kang 1 far more difficult than any megaman I've ever played. But OP is wrong about it being unfair. Its one of the few platformers with genuinely fair difficulty, your obstacles are always clear and projected to you, its just up to you to doge/manuever/Roll around or through them properly.

To be fair I didn't play the X series. But still.

I struggled for the longest time on this game, but recently beat it.

Died a few times, especially on the floating platform level where you need to collect fuel cans to keep it going.

It might have something to do with playing it on real hardware and through CRT, so there was zero input lag.

It's definitely challenging (the save point system is annoying) but not unfair.

The thing that makes DKC a fantastic game is that even tho its hard, it always make you feel like you could be doing better and I would say thats the opposite of unfair.
