When strong enough found a side organisation of the guild specialised in archeology. Study and collect old books, go with my pupils on expeditions to visit Dwemer Ruins and stuff.

Use my knowledge to travel to Vvardenfell and go collect all those mysterious artifacts. Take my best students and some mercs with me. Become a more powerful wizard and sell the Artifacts I don't need.

Build a comfy but luxurious home and work on my studies from time to time and go on an adventure when I feel like it.

No, I've been to actual Venice once. It's a kinda shabby looking shadow of what it once was, overrun by tourists. It's still an interesting place to visit and in its own way quite beautiful but I prefer Fantasy Venice.
