I love Jack

Nah nigga, Jack's the best thing about 7.

youtube.com/watch?v=TF3NZNwcohA

His voice acting is spot on.
I loved all the HERE COMES JACK moments in the game.
Kind of fell off when they introduced Marguerite. Lucas was only slightly better than her and he doesn't even personally attack you.

The bug house is easily the worst part of the game.

>Old House
>Not the Mines

>the Mines
>not the entire backtracking ship segment

Jack needs to be the RE7 rep in MvCi.

Easily the best VA in the game, and the most fun character to interact with.

At least you got to explore during the ship segment, and parts of it are legit fucking creepy as hell. The mines are just a huge corridor, and their only redeeming visual element (bioweapon labs) is barely there.

You better start runnin' boy!

youtube.com/watch?v=6XJ5j0kq5og&feature=youtu.be&t=250

Agreed. The upper floor was better though, walking through the dim lit rooms expecting something to happen when nothing happens at all

G R O O V Y

seriously has there ever been a modern """scary""" RE game?

>Ethan
>EEEETHAAAAAN
>EEEEEEEEEEEEETHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN

Why would the game think I will be scared by marguerite when I have dealt with jack before

>when nigger enters your house uninvited

Oooohh BOY!
NOW LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE, MOTHERFUCKER!!

>NOW LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE, MOTHERFUCKER
>MOTHERFUCKER

it's muthafucka'

He can be scary and evil and still a goofy character people love. They aren't mutually exclusive. A lot of old horro play up goofy aspects of otherwise terrifying characters to play on the divide.

There wasn't even an old scary RE game.

>the way he screams for marguerite in monster form
I-I'm sorry, Jack ;_;

>Felt bad for Eveline during the first playthrough
>Do it again to see the other ending
>Realise that Eveline's small sympathetic qualities don't exactly forgive the fact that she's a fucking sadist

Rest in peace, Jack. You're drifting in heaven now.

He's the only thing in the whole game that's not bland.

That's not groovy Jack

easy

I like how natural the voice acting is, hope other Jap devs can follow suit.

Eveline isn't even a living thing. She's just been programmed to be that way.

I don't think that's fair. Lucas is fairly amusing in a "SAW, NEET edition" kind of way. And Ethan is actually a very likable protagonist.

>That's not groovy Jack

She is a living thing, and she was never programmed to be sadistic. She was programmed to imprint on others and make them obey her, not to turn them into cannabalistic serial killers. And she certainly enjoys it all the while.

>And Ethan is actually a very likable protagonist.

>WHAT THE FUCK?
>FUCK YOU.
>FUCK.
>FUCK OFF.
>FUCKING SHIT.

NANI?

Jack the Drifter

Cherry picking.

Why did his character just kind of disappear into the void?

meme character
shit game

>Being chased by Jack
>Lose him

>... FUCK YOU

Probably DLC, but I honestly think they just didn't know how to work in a fight with him. The entire game he's somewhat of a coward, mocking you from behind safety and using tricks. I doubt he'd ever pick up a gun and start shooting at you, even if he can't physically die.

Fucking plot holes am I right?

>tfw I haven't been able to get that line out of my head since

Is this game Multi5?
I really want to play this game with the french dub.
Its so sexy & funny.

>Outlast/PT ripoff

>welcome to the family son

>YAMERO YAAAAMERO!

Also Jack talks like he's in a fighting game in the japanese dub.

>His smile and optimism, gone

DLC. Supposedly you deal with him in Not a Hero as One of umbrella's flunkies

True Final Boss is DLC

I fucking hate his shirt

Daily reminder that they didn't do anything wrong, and it's all Mia's fault

Technically it's Barry's fault. And, you know, the group they work for.

when remake2?????

If the true final boss DLC isn't called "Jack's Back" I'll be angry.

I would honestly be shocked if Jack isn't in Marvel Infinite.

He's the face of their new Resident Evil game and everyone loves him.

ETHAN! EEEETHAAAN! EEEEEETHHHHAAAANNN!

I wonder how many people ever got this scene

youtube.com/watch?v=-2XLFWGTDGk&ab_channel=LarexusGaming

I did, but I honestly thought it was something that was supposed to happen

>There is an actually RE General thread

This series is officially dead.

The same thing could also potentially happen during the chainsaw fight, although Jack doesn't help you there.

youtube.com/watch?v=ZYhCZKGBt2I&ab_channel=Aisthetikos

SHAUN

SHAAAAAAUUUN

>mfw watching that scene

>b-b-but muh RE 1,2 and 3!
They were just as non-scary but enjoyable to play as this game.

so is he´s Isaac Clarke ancestor or something?

They should have done something a bit similar to that coward from Bloodborne, Micolash.

You have to run after him and he's hiding and you have to shoot him before he runs away again, and only his traps can hurt you.

weak

I feel like the only reason we got a scene humanizing the family was because this was a Japanese game.

Honestly, not even trying to troll here, I don't think a Western game studio would bother taking the time to make the cliched redneck zombies even a little bit developed as characters. Nobody of any social capital would care about the Southern white crackers, so why even bother?

You fucking know Bioware or Naughty Dog wouldn't waste a breath on it.

Any decent fix for the audio syncing issues?

This feels like either a really strange attempt at getting some (You)s or a really misguided belief. Even the big bad originally white wizard in DA2s DLC had a sympathetic moment.

The game was written by a westerner though.

>Start Madhouse difficulty
>Get past the boss battle in the Garage with Jack
>Go to the Main Hall
>See the Scorpion Key and decide to buy it
>Pick it up and suddenly hear "No way out ya knnnoowww?"
>Jack runs in outta nowhere like he's Sonic the Hedgehog late to buy a chilli dog
>Knocks me the fuck out

I wasn't ready for Jack on Madhouse

That part is awesome though. I didn't expect them to bring back the moth cocoon shit from 2 and Outbreak. Just adds to the disgust of the whole swamp setting too, infestation is a repelling thought.

This game wasn't scary at all, but I love it. The "horror" element is creative and engaging instead of terrifying. Maybe it's because I am playing on normal difficulty but none of the encounters make me fear for my life.

VR is stroke inducing though. Makes you really appreciate the game more. I wish it was cheaper and more comfortable / had more games to make it appealing so more anons would try it.

This part was exceptionally easy. Just follow him as he swerves around and swing at him with a knife. He cannot do a single thing.

Wait you mean Madhouse changes some encounters?

i loved the jack chainsaw battle. car fight was good too. shit was memorable. i laughed and giggled during the chainsaw fight. too funny

the games was written by a westcuck. i think the Fear dude

Jack moves ridiculously fast on Madhouse difficulty. It's actually funny.

This was suppose to be a hidden scene? I assumed it was a normal scripted event to introduce the effects of the healing serum.

My brother is probably going to get a PSVR setup but I always tease him for not being PC master race so I will have to swallow my pride if I want to be spooked.

Another thing I noticed is that the sounds in game are relatively quiet compared to other programs. My headset volume only goes up so far, but it wasn't loud enough to really scare the shit out of my when something happened.

I wouldn't call it a hidden scene, its just a lot of people dont see it cause they dont get caught by Jack

Jack has some of the best boss battles iv seen in years.
Glad to see devs actually giving a shit about making boss battles interesting.

Madhouse changes up the positioning of items, enemy spawns, and it beefs them up so they're super quick and deal lots of damage.

It's very much like the Advanced mode from RE1 Director's Cut.

I never got this scene, but that is badass.

I guess I am going to have to play through a second. When fighting with Jack in the garage, I got stuck because the car exploded in front of the ladder so I couldn't climb it. Anyways, I reloaded and there were like 3 other scripted events that I didn't experience the first time I fought him.

I usually hate playing through the same game twice, especially if it's a horror game but I may have to make an exception for RE7

i did, but then i died because no first aid bottle thing
