Here is the problem with Zelda Breath of the Wild:

Based off of the screenshots, gameplay and livestreams, it looks like a worse version of Zelda Spirit Tracks. At least fucking TRY to put some effort into making these games. This is the same rehashed content and rehashed design that we've seen before. They've had 6 years to make this game and it's still fucking trash. The entire game world feels so goddamn shit, the only thing you can even do is literally make a campfire and walk around some empty forest.
I forgot that Japanese people only know how to rehash. Just look at Nintendo and their upcoming Splatoon game, it's a fucking rehashed idea that is designed to be a quick cash grab.

Do yourself a favor and buy Horizon: Zero Dawn which seems decent as fuck. The combat alone is 10x better than Zelda and each boss is pretty much a mini-boss like the Dark Souls games.

Ubisoft has used an "open world formula" in the past years that it's like the "Marvel formula" of videogames. It works OK but it never makes a game great or really interesting. Assassin's Creed, Far Cry (3 and 4, specially 4) and Watch Dogs and are all franchises with fun concepts but they all end up either being bad or mediocre because they use the same formula, they don't feel like original games that had a strong lead by a talented game designer or something like that. To be fair BOTW is using a bit of that, but Nintendo always manages to keep things fresh and creative at least. Not Horizon though. The only thing that looks interesting is the combat but the rest is Ubisoft mediocre shit.
