None of the Crash games were difficult user
Crash 1 was only hard because of the save system.
Sounds like you're an autist who played at 17 and not 5+ like everyone else who had a normal childhood
In the remake it was point to point the same minus obvious lighting, folliage, etc. Everything will the be the same.
Good lord I hope Storm Ascent stays around.
>PS1/N64 babies
>Normal
>playing any console past PS1
>not having your own rig built by the age of 10
>being a nintendo autist
rotflmao
>I'm 30 and I still play video games
After 100%ing Crash 1 recently (never thought I'd be able to do that) I really appreciate how fiendish the level design is compared to the later games. They aren't nearly as inventive as the original and rely more on enemy placement more than anything.
>corridor platformer
>difficult
they already fucked up the atmosphere in the trailers.
And Corridor Coochie is back.
Crash Bandihoochie hoochie mama
>widescreen
and if you want ice mothafucka i got it for you
The Crash trilogy wasn't that hard. The biggest problems really came from the controls having varying tightness between games. Platforming and the few weirdly controlled minigame stages were the hardest parts of the Crash games. That being said, it is a fucking platformer, so I would hope the platforming is the challenge.
I'll assume that they have the controls fixed in the remake, but after hearing about how hard they wanted to recreate the original game, it is possible that they'll keep them the same as they were in each game.
whoa
The gaming community is different from back then. They might make some things easier tho of course.
You're here forever.
See you in 10 years, I'll be laughing at you getting mad at kids who grew up with Minecraft and FNAF.
>that one kid who comes in and says DUDE NO VIDEOGAMES WERE EVER HARD and derails the thread
what's his name?
mere days after the trailers dropped there were countless reports of people saying "I have no idea why they used that build in the trailer, the playable build looks so much better it's unreal"
I'll see if i can get a comparison screenshot, a few were floating around
"cunt"
Please do I heard they fucked up the atmosphere for the ruins
...
>Cold hard crash
And Crash Dash
Oh shit
How old is this game?
I still remember, shit
How old was I?
fuck man
I'd play it
And those shitty fucking temple levels
Fuck the death routes on those
>normie it up
Three girls I've dated still had at least one their crash copies and they were as normie as it gets.
>ever game-overing in Crash 1
I bet you didn't even go for 100%
Considering that the only hard part about Crash 1 was getting crate gems, and they're changing how getting crate gems works for that game, the answer is no, it won't be.
Had no problem with those levels. Love the aesthetics of it too.
>will give double jumping
>autosave for those accidental falls
>auto regenerating health
>first level is a tutorial level
>and they're changing how getting crate gems works for that game, the answer is no, it won't be.
explain
Was it Total Recall?
In crash 1, if you die, the crates respawn and you lose the chance of getting the gem (even if you die at the start, getting all the crates still doesn't count).
The remake could use the same crate system from Crash 2/3, where you can get the crate gems even if you die.
But its usually the linear platformers that are hard because of there being a larger emphasis on obstacle course platforming. Nonlinear platformers tend to be more about exploration and puzzle solving than raw skill.
They sound pretty keen to keep it 1:1. Vicarious know how to look after the series, there gba games were top notch
>open world platforming
>Just cheese your way from point a - b
I cant wait for the boss battles. Roo in crash 2 will be great fun
They have made it so the lighting shows more which is sad. I guess the freaky power plant level with the cortex screens will be the same. Interested to see lights out and the great bridge
PCfag here, should i get a PS4 slim for the remakes?
I never advise buying a console for one game
What the other guy said. If you die when trying to go for the box gem in the first game, then all of the crates you destroyed respawn, rendering the gem null and void. So to get the box gem you have to beat the level without dying, while destroying every single box.
In this remake they're changing it for the better. If you die every box you destroyed before the checkpoint remains destroyed and you wont have to restart the level. Not only that the boxes in the bonus levels also count towards the gem. This includes the Cortex and Brio bonus rounds. In the original game the boxes in the bonus levels did not count towards the gem. An additional touch is you can now see how many boxes are in each level, so you can see how close you are getting to destroying every box. This option was only available in Crash 3, but in this remake they're including that option for both Crash 1 and 2.
What this user said. Also wait for the remakes to come out and see whether or not they'll actually be good.
They might release it later on other platforms
I don't think they ever mentioned exclusivity
can't wait to see Kong's and Tiny's fight.
I never understood why they replaced kong for tiny.
Will the remakes collection also include the originals?
No. Kinda pointless and most the spurce is gone
>In this remake they're changing it for the better.
Arguable. The fact that you're forced to grab every crate without dying was a purposeful decision for Crash 1, not some limitation of what the team could do. Without it, many stages that were somewhat tough to complete 100% are entirely toothless. For stages like Cortex Power or either of the hog stages, I would argue that the new gem collection stuff is definitely an improvement, but the game wasn't designed with it in mind.
>talking about Crash
>>being a nintendo autist
All of my what
It's nu-naughty dog so getting 3 aku akus will probably play your character for you. All of the boss fights with be cutscenes with QTEs.
Hope the remakes sell well, would love to see a remake of CTR and or Bash. Those two were some of my favourites growing up.
naughty dog isn't working on the game
your bitterness is making you retarded
Naughty dogs not involved.
>tfw they add a hard mode with more difficult box arrangements
A man can dream
Doesnt really effect much. Just makes it easier. If you wana autist it, just retstart the level
This isnt super mario and the golden tanooki
and crash will eat this camera
Is this a romhack?
I remember hearing about a modding tool released for Crash 2 but nothing came out of it iirc
"just making it easier" changes how people play the game, dumbass. If you removed game overs from the original Super Mario Bros. entirely, the game would lose any form of tension.
It was all a stage play like SMB3, only for these levels though.
I'll tell you somthing for free. Majority wont gove a shit. Majority will actually like the change. Most people who played this as a kid are grown ups now that dont give a shit. Check yourself autismo
Wow, I never knew that!
I replayed Bash after the trilogy and man it's not as good as I remember it.
The more you know user
who's great hall?
>the reduced difficulty will make the game worse
>who cares
>but it makes the game worse
>yeah but nobody cares YOU AUTIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO
why even bother posting man
explain
Worse in your opinion, which is a minority opinion. Majority of comments I have seen around the subject has been praise. Your problem is you're a self centered faggot. Stop having a fit you child
read the quote thread and you'll find the explanation
Yeah, and I fucking know that it's my opinion. I said that it made an already-easy game toothless, which it will, and then you responded with some retarded non-argument. I said the game would have less tension, which it will, and you said "PEOPLE LIKE THAT" and yeah, no fucking shit people like easy games. I'm saying that it is a change, I'm making a case for how I, personally, think it misses the point of the original game, which was designed the way it was on purpose, even though there were some major issues with that design. You're the one going NUH YOUR OPINION and NUH PEOPLE LIKE IT BETTER THIS WAY which like, yeah, great, sure, I don't give a fuck, that's not what I'm fucking arguing.
I'm not the yellow-face-poster explicitly using the word "worse" so don't go there with me fag-tron.
>I'll be laughing at you getting mad at kids who grew up with Minecraft and FNAF
You're already there.
Kek this aint a blog bub
Oh, shit! I'm sorry for trying to discuss video games on the board marked "Video Games."
You should honestly kill yourself
Don't be sorry, you shouldn't have even given him a reply.
>bad controls
why are you talking about Mario 64?
the majority is retarded by default and therefore does not have a valid opinion
example: 3 years ago
70% of the germans thought Angela Merkel was good
70% of the germans thought the administration was shit
in the same poll
they did not connect the chancelor with the government
>>bad controls
Who are you quoting?
