I'm playing the first Raidou and that's pretty good. But DP is the best Twin Peaks game. Unless Mizzurna Falls is better, I haven't played that so I wouldn't know.

The second half of season 2, after they reveal the killer, is widely regarded as terrible. That and James' insufferable roadtrip among other storylines ranging from shit to alright ruined it. David Lynch wasn't heavily involved with that part of the show. I've also heard it was a number of writers with different ideas of what Twin Peaks should be fighting over it but don't quote me on that.

That said, the ending is great.

Yeah that's the exact feeling I get, it's not so bad though that I've lost all interest, the actual interesting stuff going on with Briggs and of course cooper is still going strong. Hopefully it keeps up, I don't know how much more of these bad subplots I can take, not all of them are bad, just some that really effect the show.

My problem with s2 of Twin Peaks is not necessarily that the murder was solved, because it was never really about who the killer was, imo. It was about the town as a whole and the people in it.

The second half of s2 just feels like it really drags and, without the mystery of who the murderer is, there's no real central conflict that brings everyone together.

I'm not implying that it happened because the murder was solved, but that was the point it started declining.

That said Lynch never intended to reveal who the killer was in first place but was forced because the network interfered and that was when he lost interest, so it sort of was the cause.
