I didn't unlock the demo rewards for Nioh. Should I even buy the game now since I'm not getting the full experience?

it's just 3 masks. Ones you can probably acquire otherwise in game.
Only one of them even looks cool.

you will never have everything

Lame.

I know how you feel, I get that by not playing the other entries on the series, like, I almost didn't play bloodborne cause I've never played any souls game before, even knowing they dont have a connection. But yeah, it was one of the best experences i've had in gaming, so its ok not gettig everything. fuk u if youre memeing

Nope. Save your money for Zelda. You will need to get the amibos for the full experience. And lucky for you, you don't need to unlock them. Just not be a poorfag.

What are the deluxe 5 weapons? Got a feeling they will be shit

>weapons deluxe edition dlc

Hold the fuck on what is this shit please tell me they are skins.

This has to be a bait thread.

I refuse to believe anyone is actually this retarded. No one doesn't buy a game over a couole worthless aesthetic pieces when there are a dozen more.

you can get the masks by killing revenants wearing them. paid content like deluxe weapons and stuff still doesn't drop.

they more than likely are, but you'll be able to use them fro refashioning.

Some peopel get weird about the idea of never being able to 100% the game.

Like hitman and the elusive targets.

Naw I have some pretty bad completionist syndrome. If I wait for the game to go on sale or buy it cheap used, it doesn't bother me as much. When I buy it brand new and feel like I'm missing out on stuff because I didn't preorder or unlock stuff during a demo, it drives me nuts.

The Elusive Targets is also a dumb one considering almost all of them are nothing at all. You can make an excuse though with the argument the game has a checklist which will permanently display missed targets so you can claim that triggers their autism.

Knowing there is 1 in like 20 helmet ls you can never get, and never being reminded of it in any way in game is a dumb reason to not buy a game.

It doesn't stop me from buying the game, but it can sway me from buying a game on launch. I have so much shit in my backlog, I don't mind waiting. I hate these pre-order sales tactics, like many others, so when companies try pulling shit like this I'll just wait 6 months or a year and buy the game cheap as fuck. I rarely buy games new as it is, but shitty business practices like this just make my decision even easier.

I felt bad because every time they rolled out a demo I was away from home visiting friends. All three(?) of them.
Even unique gear aside, I really wanted to play it before I considered buying.

But I ordered it today anyway given the fact that I like souls games and am a fucking weeb so I'll probably love it.

>rewarding people for buying intelligently (playing demos) is a shitty business practice
>hurting devs for completely innocuous publisher choices
>missing out on good games and playing them when they're the most alive isn't missing out
lol

I got it today, went "oh look, there's my helms" and got rid of them. They're ugly as sin

No, you get maximum +2 damage swords for level 1 characters at level 1.

Preorder bonuses are usually only good for the first couple of hours of a game before you find something with better stats. I'd imagine the demo items will be the same.

can someone explain stances briefly?

it's basically a unique moveset for each, right? any other benefits to switching?

They're aesthetically different being the point, so they do make a permanent difference in theory.

These people are still retarded.

>rewarding people for buying intelligently (playing demos) is a shitty business practice

This isn't a big deal because from what I understand you can still unlock those rewards in-game later on.

>hurting devs for completely innocuous publisher choices

Preorder bullshit will always be bullshit

>missing out on good games and playing them when they're the most alive isn't missing out

It's a single player game, who cares when you play it? I just started Witcher 3 a couple months ago and don't feel like I'm missing anything, although I'm 50 hours in and starting to lose interest.

Can you invert the vertical AND horizontal camera controls in this game? All the Souls games let you do this, but I bought Lords of the Fallen and it doesn't let you. It's my biggest fear of buying a game I've never played...

>the Witcher 3 has online coop and pvp, and these are single player modes despite having you play with other people
Since when?

Been digging around for pictures of the jap exclusives. This is the only one I've found, the fortune tanuki obviously.

Hopefully they drop easily enough from Revvies. This shits hilarious.

Can I create a full on wizard?
Not
>Kinda yeah you can use firespells but still need to use ancient katana to cut evil demons
I want full on fireballs throwing icewall building lightning striking wizard shenanigans

Even though you're trolling, I only ever play online coop with real life friends and that's still easily manageable with older games. And I don't really care about tacked on multiplayer modes in mostly single player games. Like Max Payne 3, for instance.

Only played Last-chance but luckily it got me all 3 marks. Good thing I pre-ordered Digital Delux too because the Nioh armor and the weapons look swish as fuck, and I'm 100% positive I'll be returning to the game when DLC releases.

Sucks I gotta hope for the Jap exclusive drops from revenants though.

Shame that non-preorders are missing out on the sweet weapons and black Nioh armor though.

there are fireballs that you can stack, doubt you can do enough damage with them to make it viable else the game would be too easy.

>you're trolling
Stopped here.

You told me a game with coop and pvp was a single player game and directly compared it to the Witcher 3.

Me pointing out you're wrong isn't trolling, especially with FACTS backing me up.

explain dodging

is it rolling like dark souls? or dashing like bloodborne?

or a combo of both

So it was announced worldwide release Feb 7, pre ordered digital and just noticed not playable until 8th at midnight in the UK. What a load of bollocks. My USA friends get to play in 8 hours whilst I need to wait 27.

Depends on your stance.

you could make a US psn account and play I believe

oh cool, im glad it isnt basic as some action rpgs can be pretty simple with regard to movement

I have a USA account, I checked the download and it shows the same time as the EU one. I do have work tomorrow though so it's probably a good thing I can't play tonight.

in any case, it will be there and apparently theres lots to do, so it wont be something that you beat in 6 hours or whatever.

it's not 7th feb world wide, uk release has always been the 8th and 9th for japan.

Nope, you're always be a conquered. Don't even bother.

If you care this much, you should just wait for the inevitable PC version where you can get those exclusive items easily.

...

They should just put these types of things in the game after a certain period of time. It's anti-consumer. Especially when different retailers each have different bonuses, then online purchases get their own, then deluxe/collector's editions, then season pass bonuses and on and on. It's too fucking much.

For actually autistic people like myself who are completionists, it can be anything from experience-degrading to unplayable (in OP's case). For me, it's just a nagging annoyance that I can get past, but it's still anti-consumer.

Nah, see You can't get the Mark items from revenants, but you can potentially get the Forging Recipes as extremely rare drops from the appropriate bosses (Though apparently they're rare to the point of Grindy McGrindathon territory).

Pre order cancelled

I hate when they do this shit and jap devs never give you another shot at buying it.
