what the actual fuck

Good software is always behind a paywall.

If this wasn't the case then Linux wouldn't be irrelevant in professional media environments and in the gaming industry.

>paywall for emulators

>dev spends a lot of time and effort making the best ds emulator available because they're expecting compensation
>WTF WHY IS IT MONEY

>making the best ds emulator available
>only available on a botnet mobile OS marketplace

>denuvo level drm to prevent piracy.
I don't think that's quite true
t. played 2 Phoenix Wright games on my phone

i bought this when i was on holiday and it saved my ass on the airport waiting for shit

i dont get the issue of paying basically fucking nothing for a very well working emulator

> let's ignore IT enterprise
> let's ignore android
> let's ignore SmartStuff
> let's ignore IoT
It's not Sup Forums but you are just fucking retarded and/or wrote this just to trigger me.

You reminded of this comic, OP

Those are available natively on Android, why would you emulate them?

IT enterprises use Windows Embedded unless you live in a Yuropean shithole or need something highly specialized for server use.

I got it and I didn't pay for it

Not true

The best DS emulator is still DeSmuME

>payware

Nigga its like six bucks and then you can play all the pirated DS games you want

how's abobe support on linux treating you

Why don't you just buy a DS OP? They're hardly expensive and you can just buy an Acekard or R4 to play every game except maybe the ones with anti-piracy. Which isn't that many at all.

DeSmuME runs like shit and isnt any more accurate then drastic

According to wikipedia: A high-definition version of the first three Ace Attorney games, Ace Attorney: Phoenix Wright Trilogy HD,[a] was released for iOS and Android in Japan on February 7, 2012, and for iOS in the West on May 30, 2013.

I just download the apk and get it for free

more like bottlenecked online and local play smume

>op complains about a five dollar app

>hey op, why don't you just spend ten times as much on extra piece of hardware to lug around like an autist?

more like DeSumeME

DeSmuME is much more accurate
Dumb shits like you think N64 emulation is perfect because it just werks

Or you can get a cheap DS (if you don't already have one) and a flashcart. You still have to pay money but is less retarded than an android emulator with paywall and you will play with the actual hardware.

>android exclusive
I've never gotten this meme. There are so many apps that would be useful on desktop PC.

Buy a cheap DS and a flashcard.

It's the best console of all time, it's worth it.

>he doesn't know how to bypass DraStic drm
Fucking casuals oh my god

gr8 b8

People doesn't buy desktop software anymore and most smartphone users are stupid enough to buy shit because is "cheap".

Nice stealth advertisement fellow marketingbro.

Not him but the HD versions look unappealing to some folks, including myself

Storage solutions here. Linux dominates this fairly important field. Mainframes are slowly moving toward that direction as well.
I don't care what Pajeets use, sorry.

Read post again. We are talking real business, not Art degree dropouts.

Isn't that illegal though? They're gaining profit through another companies product.

Welcome to the cruel, real world user. Some people steal, other are liers and some other kill other people.

does coropata still have graphical glitches on drastic?

I'd by PC software for smartphone prices.

Is not. They are not using actual Nintendo software and they aren't selling roms. Is a legal hole.

But if you use an emulator to play games for free, that's actually illegal unless you own a legit of the game.

Laws are retarded but that's how the world works.

>tool for piracy has anti-piracy measures

I understand that but Nintendo is usually on top of those things and shuts them down pretty fast.

>> emulating it through an android emulator is better then any of the DS emulators running natively on PC.
This is bullshit, though. Desmume is pretty bad but not THAT bad.

No, see Sony VS Bleem.

Spoiler
Bleem Won, although the legal fees bankrupted them
>doesn't use lp
>or just a pre-patched apk
You are actually fucking retarded, filthy non-pirates.

this so much.
t:

retard who isn't using JIT detected

> let's ignore IoT
I liked it when it was called "the internet". That's one of the most embarrassing buzzwords ever.

>has denuvo level drm to prevent piracy
>literally one click in Lucky Patcher
Bruh...

Just get an android emulator

I imagine there is some sort of legal background for this to happen. It must be the same reason Nintendo has never pulled a C&D on the companies making Famicom systems on a chip.

What is this, a straw man for ants?

Those are literally the only two domains where linux is irrelevant.

>pay for the emulator
>steal the games
fuck them

>just run the software in a buggy emulator environment without proper keyboard and mouse controls

It's not a DeSmuNe

just do google surveys for 4 months you cheap bastard

>pay for the emulator
>already bought the games

You're aware Android exists officially for x86, right? That's what emulators utilize.

IoT is a useful term though. It's a nice way to designate the parts of the internet that are stupid and useless and insecure.

Also slow.

Yes we all believe you nigger

What the fuck DRM are you guys even talking about? I'm playing Strange Journey with this emulator right now and I've had no issues.

nox app player is far from buggy fool

DeSmuME is only better for HD and that's only one specific version.

I like drastic. it was the first emulator I paid for. the pkg files suck and the latest one actually runs most DS games I've thrown at it very smoothly. This is a good thing because there is a fuck ton of RPGs that would play great on the phone

the big down side is the battery life. it eats through battery.

Reminds me of that botnet of web cameras.

>Steal the emulator
>Steal the games
>Don't play anything afterwards
Who's the fool now nigga

Root and use lucky patcher you fucking tards

I actually bricked my tablet while trying to root it to be able to install lucky patcher and pirate DraStic
As I tried to fix it, I fucked it up even more, until the literally unfixable point according to everywhere on the internet, my PC won't even detect it no longer
Still, the DraStic guys didn't and will never have my money

>install custom recovery
>flash supersu
Wow, so hard. As a bonus your device becomes unbrickable.

Timestamp your cases, faggot.

>you can get it easily if your phone is rooted
>no one wants to root the phone I got
>no one is working on it

It's a unofficial illegal emulator not from fucking Nintendo themselves

please respond

>denuvo level drm to prevent piracy
This is a joke right? I got a working pirate copy in 30 seconds with a quick google search.

Although I really don't see how its the best DS emulator. PC DS emulator seems to work just as good, also theres the upscaling texture DS emulator or whatever the fuck it is. That one has some bugs but looks fucking beautiful.

Everybody calm your tits down

Post the best DS games to emulate on android

Animal crossing wild world. Perfect on the go game for when you are taking a train or on a bus (if you are a poor fag with no car).

meh

once 3DS DS emu gets its head out of its ass, i can play EVERYTHING from nes, snes,GB,GBA and DS on the 3DS.

Just download the apk. Get it off aptoide if you can't find it elsewhere.

You don't need a rooted phone to install an apk.

never gonna happen, too underpowered

Ace attorney games

You need it to patch the APK, and all the downloadable APKs are patched incorrectly, outdated, or just the demo.

oh yeah,
o3DS couldn't, but N3DS could
besides, it can already fucking play DS games anyway, they will find a way, already have but its wonky and shit.

This does not sound right to me, I just downloaded an APK, turned on the setting to run APK's from outside the google play store and bam it worked like a charm.

Then again this was around 11 months ago, the working apks may not be available now.

Can somebody just explain to me how the fucking DRM works? I bought the app and I've had no issues playing any games.

>use DeSmuME like once
>it just werks
>no issues except a little sound issue I quickly fixed
>apparently it's shit

Eh? What's wrong with it exactly, granted I've only played like three games on it but no issues with any of them. What makes this emulator so much better?

And what games are there to even emulate that I haven't already played to death back when the DS actually came out. One of the three I didn't know existed, the other only came out in Japan, and the third wasn't good.

>tfw Russian
>tfw the best Android piracy sites and apps are Russian

>not just getting a cheap DS and a flashcard

>vanilla DS games

Uh-huh... Pokémon?
Nothing else comes to mind really

Ghost Trick is great

Ghost Trick, Radiant Historia

vsrecommendedgames.wikia.com/wiki/Nintendo_DS

Even though Drastic is better, playing every game just with touch controls is a nightmare.

>> The best DS emulator is an android exclusive
It's not, DeSmuME is better

>> its payware and has denuvo level drm to prevent piracy.
Except it doesn't It literally took me 10 mnutes to find and install a cracked apk

Nice shilling there though, retard

this legit runs better than my r4

I had a really comfy time playing Rune Factory 3 on my tablet last summer by connecting my PS3 controller to it when I didn't have access to my computer.

>people without root
>people without LP
When did this place become so overrun with Facebook?

R4 card doesnt work for 3ds games

Does rooting have any negative consequences?
Because if it doesn't I might fall for the root meme

Come on at least try not to sound like a shill

On Samsung phones it trips Knox. Some banking apps refuse to work(there are ways to fix that). Otherwise, nah. Custom ROMs provide more useful stuff though, and generally have root.

Drastic is so optimized it could run on the shittiest phone ever. Desmume needs somewhat decent pc to run some 3d games.

>its payware and has denuvo level drm to prevent piracy.

I have an older version of the apk if you need it.
