Masterpiece
Shit gameplay
Good memes
Best RPG in 20 years.
Aside from Roach fucking up sometimes, it is a great game. Most of the hate here is just shitposting.
Name's Gerald. looking for my wife's son. Might've seen him. 5 foot tall. Black. Smells of corn chips and amphetamines.
A decent game, no where near all it's hyped up to be though.
*eyefucks you*
It looks good, it plays okay, and the story is garbage.
Best game of all time, even with those horrible basic controls. Every fucking quest has its own background. Overwhelming.
A masterpiece.
I like it
>Every fucking quest has its own background.
Radiant quests my ass.

weak bait

Weaker bait
Worst RPG in the last decade. Even calling it an RPG is an insult to RPG's with actual mechanics. You worthless faggots shit on Skyrim all the time but even it is better than this steaming pile of dogshit in every conceivable way. It's good if you like empty waifufag cutscene simulators but nothing more.
someone post the video
Started this game recently, still in the first area after fighting the griffin, didn't have any prior research into the title.
I like the game a lot, but the combat is by far the weakest link. I'm playing it on Deathmarch (for full effect), and the encounters have an issue with being sort of samey. With all the game's supposed focus on "varied" playstyles, there is no reason not to use Quen at all times and just spam the radial pushback. And samey combat is only emphasized when you run into so many wolves you'd think you're playing early-game Dragon's Dogma.
I feel like the game itself would have benefited from Shadow of Mordor's combat system to give base attacks some more variety, just to mix things up a bit.
That being said, I'm having a great time so far. It's refreshing to see dialogue that's actually animated with expressions for once, and the investigation bits are always interesting. I hope the game won't falter after the first area.
OP said all memes aside, what are you blind and autistic?
>needing Quen on death march
lol git gud fagboi, if you learn how to dodge you should never need Quen in the first place
Shit RPG and shit game in general
Good interactive storybook
>If anyone doesn't suck Witcher's flacid cock then you're meme XD
Kill yourself you fucking retard.
>and the encounters have an issue with being sort of samey
This how the gameplay feels for the whole game, its quite obvious the combat and gameplay as a whole were afterthoughts.
it's a decent game with a great story.
Combat is shit.
Almost every subquest structure is the same introduction dialog -> sense -> some fighting -> mindfuck -> epilogue.
Everything else is god like: lore, art, dialogue, etc.
Good RPGs always had bad combat so duhh.
>game
>you should willfully not take the more effective option because it pushes my narrative that the game is hard
I like the game, but what you're suggesting is literally gimping yourself. Quen turns every encounter into a spamfest. It's CDPR's fault that this is such an effective strategy.
It's like telling someone they shouldn't use a shield in Dark Souls. Yeah, you can dodge everything, but if you have the weight to spare, why not block too?
I told Triss I love her but fucked up my dialogue choices and fucked Yen. Did I fuck up the romance?
Greatest game Ive played
Try to fit in more buzzwords in your post next time, other than that A+ for effort.
lol you suck, tl;dr scrub
Its the most overrated game in existence.
The main quest is bland and boring, with comic book villains so boring they have less lines than reskinned shopkeepers, random plot devices and mary sue chosen one characters
The open world is ubisoft-tier in its padding filler content that no one likes doing
The quest design is absolute fucking garbage because of the casual-babby witcher senses that were included because the braindead playerbase lacks any kind of thinking skills of their own
The combat is serviceable at best and starts repeating itself 2 hours in, with ridiculously bad enemy variety and blandness in available builds and movesets
Literally the only things going for it are some sidequest stories, graphics, music and character interactions at times. All of which can be experienced online free of charge. It would have been far better off as a TV series or some shit like that.
I wish they would continued plagiarising and made Geralt a King/Emperor or General of a Witcher school or fucking something instead of boring cliche wankfest that we ended up with
...
I loved it, it was the one game where I actually listened to the voice acting most of the time and didn't just read and skip. Had great quests, dialogue, and world. I was fine with the combat, my only complaint was that it didn't really evolve much as the game went on, but everything else in the game drew me in and kept me wanting more. Between the main game and 2 DLC's I put in around 120-130 hours. Game also did expansions/DLC better than any other game has in years.
succint
it's shit
