I'm pretty sure this has to do with some words not being able to translate, but are more of a slur in the right context. So, instead of telling your what it could mean, they just lazily add "Fuck" or "Shit" so you at least know, as a player, it was meant as a slur or a form of slang.

I don't know about the first one but the second is King of the Hill. The protagonist is upset about his wife leaving him so he adopts a pet iguana with the same name, eventually it runs away, which drives him to madness. "If I can't have my wife then I'll be my wife," think along those lines.

Its a very good anime in the sense that it shouldn't have been an anime. Its too dark and lacks any of the goofy shit that anime seems to emphasize
