What are games that you don't care at all but people keep on shilling?
What are games that you don't care at all but people keep on shilling?
Metal Gear
Halo
Ass Creed
Basically any "AAA" game
...
Depends on who is doing the shilling.
IRL it's usually something like RE7 or...fuck, what was the other game.
On the internet it's stuff like Overwatch, Undertale.
fucking this.
basically 99% of the games posted on Sup Forums
what do you mean "depends on who is doing the shilling?"
Souls games and Souls-like games.
Add a dose of "These games just so happen to be exclusive, so anyone who says they're sick of them is really just a fanboy of the system they're not on" and it gets downright insufferable.
This.
I played the first game out of curiosity. Never again.
Stalker. It failed because it was awful but its Sup Forums's meme fps.
>mfw FFXV and Last Guardian were shilled for 10 years
>both flopped
Literally ANY MMO.
>THIS TIME IT'LL BE DIFFERENT YOU CAN DO ANYTHING AND THERE'S CRAFTING AND A PLAYER DRIVEN ECONOMY AND DYNAMIC EVENTS AND SANDBOX AND ACTION COMBAT AND AND AND AND
Fuck off. Fuck you.
How can ANYONE fall for this shit after GW2?
Why did you fall for GW2 after Old Republic, WoW, Tera, Lineage and the dozens of others before it?
Persona 5
The first and third play very differently.
I mean...wait, I don't know or remember, honestly. Nevermind.
Not him, but I'm of the opinion that GW2 actually had a good basic design, but Arenanet failed to do anything with it after launch. Instead of fleshing out the weak points, they tacked on more and more underdeveloped garbage. Everything they did try to fix, they managed to make worse.
Fractals of the Mists was not what anyone asked for in terms of endgame content. The 'living story' was terrible (especially the writing, though no surprise there. Scarlet Briar was so fucking cringeworthy jesus christ) and also not what anyone asked for in terms of endgame content. SPvP was in sore need of attention and got none, especially in relation to the rank grind. I could go on.
Nevertheless, I think the core gameplay was legitimately fun. I especially enjoyed SPvP because there was a balanced distance between skill floor and ceiling. If they'd managed the game's first 2 years better I'd probably still be playing.
Its definitely [Insert your favourite game]
This.
>shilled
that doesn't even make sense, cut that shit out.
What I disliked about the first game was:
>Poor combat
>Not actually roleplaying (stats, equipment)
>The core of the game is: go to that place, talk to this npc, then go that other place, talk to this npc, then go to that other place, choose a dialog option, rinse and repeat
Does the third game change any of those things? Have in mind how I don't care about plot or story in videogames.
We literally had one guy, paid by SE, making FFXV threads every day for years.
Any and all Rockstar games
