they introduced the wildcard chips which could be used alongside any other letter of battle chip. The net is way easier to navigate, plus there is a good variety of transformations called style changes which change your charged buster attack and can give you passive or sometimes active bonuses. There is alot of fun experimentation in the game especially when it comes to trying out all the style changes

Mario and Luigi superstar saga, Metroid fusion and zero mission and Kirby and the amazing mirror are all great too

Astro Boy: Omega Factor

I've actually liked every one of Treasure's releases. Yes, even the shitty licensed stuff is fun if you can swallow your pride and get past the cringe.

Excellent taste. I picked it up from the bargain bin thinking I'd get a bit of fun out of the multiplayer and the story mode ended up being Zelda-tier.
