Any LEGEND difficulty tips? Are the businesses essential? Any equipment I need?
Any LEGEND difficulty tips? Are the businesses essential? Any equipment I need?
I just finished the game for the first time.
Grinding Real Estate made me miserable.
I missed the Taxi substory in Y5
yea Real Estate was pretty boring compared to the rest of the game. Not looking forward to it in my Legend play through
I have not played Legend but consider grinding Shakedown to get enough money to just buy every thing at once and focus on investing
Also win the minigames.
I've never felt so depressed in a Yakuza game as losing the catfight and disco minigames.
When Finance King appeared i was horrified by the idea of having to go through another round of buying and investing
Yeah I might try grinding Shakedown. In my first playthrough I just bought a property, started collection, wait for money and repeat which made it pretty boring
Did the same.
By the time i got by Media King i had exhausted every sidequest i could thing, so i just left it Kiryu standing around and did other shit to pass the time.
Max health and damage abilities
Use guns on escort missions, spam guns when the repair place is open in Kiryus area.
Man, i was expecting Sagawa-han to die through out the entire game, but in the end he survives until the final minute of the game
as much of a cunt sagawa he was still so fucking cool through the entire game he's kinda like kouichi takasugi except a giant cunt
what minigame does the electronics king challenge you to? im praying that its not pocket racing because that's the only thing i haven't touched and am unfamiliar with
You have to get a score of 5 million or more in OutRun
Is this game fun? I hear the side quests are pretty great and I can play this will th playing the other first since it's a prequel and the references would still be pretty cool if I went ahead
sagawa was a piece of shit but he was my favorite piece of shit
When he lasted almost the entire game i begun to actually think i must have missed his appearances in the previous games somehow
Really great story. Side quest are fucking hilarious in my opinion.
Yo Goro x Yuki all the way.
I can't believe she's just a side character.
Doing the Club Sunshine story is fun because of the two.
Yeah special training Yuki was great
this is the goty
whats the deal with fighting styles?
what do you mean?
oh what the fuck
that sounds impossible
How do i beat the third dance guy? Dozens of tries and i still am no closer to beating him.
>The female doctor doesn't recognize Majima
>Makimoto saved by a one eyed man but nothing sparks in the old gray matter
Come on
I just saved before it and took a few tries. Just put gear into High at all times and break or slow down at sharp turns. After a few tries you should remember where the turns will be.
>In my first playthrough I just bought a property, started collection, wait for money and repeat which made it pretty boring
By the time I unlocked the real estate shit... I already beaten Mr. Shakedown at least 5 times. Then I just went around buying property. Not like it was on purpose... I was doing side quests and those fuckers just kept appearing.
Had around 5-6 billion yen lying around. All I had to do was buy up property.
>activate Dragon of Dojima
>Receive You starts playing
Well I guess it sort of makes sense but I would have preferred Funk Goes On or Intelligence for Violence.
Why would a guy who saved her in Osaka be in Tokyo?
Anyone finding this to be the hardest Yakuza so far? Maybe only 3 was harder. Obviously you can cheese it out with armor and weapons, but aside from that.
fucking rigged quartergobbling shit
If KH3 turns out to be utter dog shit, then maybe. But I doubt it.
>Why would a guy who saved her in Osaka be in Tokyo?
They had a whole conversation above the empty lot
Hell, they walked all around kamurocho
before she ditched him
Here's what I did
>Beat Leisure King with Kiryu to max out Brawler
>Got all of the available upgrades with Breaker for Majima without doing Sunshine stuff
>Use the DLC packs and Password mission to get the lifesaver item and broken shotgun
>Then grind fights against Mr Shakedowns since losing doesn't game over you
Once you have all of the upgrades for those two styles, use your money to fill your inventory with shotguns and life savers
>tfw poorfags won't get the fuck out of your club
>tfw poorfags try to moneygame me
I hate the poor ones. They sometimes want my Platinum Hostesses instead of the Bronze or Silvers.
Don't forget how they always want long sessions too.
Ok thanks, might give them a try
NOT TIME TO RUUUSE
CAUSE I FIND MY PAAATH
Can someone sell me on Yakuza Zero? I love crime stories and open worlders but this looks weird as fuck.
>tfw intelligence for violence is complete dogshit in kiwami
at least funk goes on is ok
youtube.com
its an brawler with a decent crime/drama story, the silly stuff is side missions and minigames
if you want to be serious you dont have to do them, but its one of the main draws of the series
watch this for a great indepth look on the game
youtube.com
I actually like the way Intelligence for Violence sounds in Kiwami, at least until the vocals kick in.
And holy shit I do not remember the install screen music sounding so stupid.
Hyper Bit Hero is single handedly the reason that Yakuza is one of my favorite video game franchises. I'd have never played these games had it not been for his first "Your Next Favorite" they never seemed that great to me, but after emulating 1 and 2 then buying 3 4 5 and even dead souls I've had a blast with these games, and Yakuza 0 is easily one of my favorite games of all time.
Can someone link me to a typical side story I can watch and see if I want to buy and play the game?
>giant bomb just started an LP with Dan and SJW Alex
Where is the mega, lads?
Good choice
Oh god.
Reminder that the analog stick makes you turn faster than the d-pad. Don't make the same mistake i did.
Yeah, his Yakuza videos are fucking excellent. I sometimes rewatch them
You can't beat him in steps, he's way too fast at that. The only way is to have longer combos than him so play it safe.
That's not even the 4th checkpoint you pansy
i cant even get past the first one
i always end up running out of time either immediately on or an inch away from the first
Make sure you're changing gears.
>Alex triggered and ranting in the brief moments Dan is not bombarding him with retarded questions
Why would you put yourself though that
Just started the game yesterday. Must be the hypest opening in Yakuza series so far, Dojima HQ was perfectly paced and soundtrack is great, music was almost as catchy as Intelligence for Violence.
To see how someone who's new to the series and generally hate Jap games react.
Also to see Alex's sjw autuism flare up when women act like women.
>The hostess club management and erotic video shops
Alex is going to die
You get 5 million just by making it almost to stage 4.
Low gear till 180 then HIGH SPEED ALL THE WAY
Use the stick to turn, I always found the right paths when the road splits to be the easiest.
>racing against otaku king
>reach up to 4th checkpoint
>only had 4.2 million points
He must have rigged the machine, on a previous run I had more than 5 million at the 4th stage goddamn.
Has Kiryu always been wearing his suit that he got from Nishiki in Y0 in the entire series?
Use the brakes on turns that tell you to slow down, dude. Or shift down to low gear. Really though, you should have the car in high gear 95% of the time. Just be glad it's not Super Hang On.
thx
No, his usual suit is white and red
>had to try numerous times to get 5 million points in Out Run
>got 5 million in Super Hang-on on my second try
How bizarre.
Bakamitai.
>nnani?
at the end of 0 he gets his normal suit and Nishiki goes "you sure you wanna wear that? that cut's going out of style" and tries to convince him to go suit shopping, but Kiryu tells him he likes it, so Nishiki gets frustrated and tells him to wear it for the rest of his life if he that's what he wants
Real Estate, Cabaret Club, and Japan Catfight Club just completely removed any joy I had for the game. I managed to get through the cabaret shit only to find out that Mad Dog of Shimano is half-assed as hell and now I hardly want to finish the game.
I sing for you.
Tell Dan about the wrestling club underneath the movie theatre
>Picked Judgeyment during the Karaoke with Nishiki at the beginning of the game
>He complains about my taste in music being outdated
>Proceeds to sing the same song himself
fuck you kyodai
>Cabaret club music isn't 80's
>Can't mute the music to put on my own 80's music
Does leveling the 4th style again do anything? I put a couple in the health ones and saw no difference
Id probably be interested but paying for access to lets plays is too pathetic even for me
>REJOICE SILLY BAKA GAIJIN, NOTHING IS CUT FROM THE GAME THIS TIME
>no installation screen, have to play the game constantly listening to my PS4 trying to take off
>no Bubble in the intro, unfitting generic hard rock instead
>go to Poppo and try to look at manga/magazines, but only covers are available again
Gee SEGA, thank you for cutting nothing from western release!.. Aside from things you cut from Y4 and Y5 too!
i want to marry and fuck and seed this woman
>complaining because they cut an installation screen from the game
It's also still in the game anyway, unlocks after you finish the game
I guess you never played a PS4 game from disc, or play in headphones? Do you realize how loud the PS4 is when the disc is spinning?
Sorry to hear that you have aloud PS4 user. Some are really loud some aren't. Mine PS4 is silent, I play with it next to me on my desk. My uncle's is fucking loud though
>tfw you complete Sunshine Club and get that smooth 10bil
It was a nice surprise compared to how much more you make from real estate.
It's not really half-assed, it just lacks heat actions.
So why was some random Nurse hotter than literally every other woman in the game, including hostess girls?
NARUHODO-NA~
Fuck you. I like Yuki.
The rest of the hostess though look trash.
Yes it does. You just didn't notice since the health boosts are so tiny.
Most likely because she wasn't based on a real woman.
How do I grind shakedown on Kiryu?
They probably expected returning players to pick Bakamitai, a familiar song.
>tfw young Kiryu isn't into enka
>It's another Kuze will now take the fight seriously episode
Not surprised, the real world ruins everything
How many levels are there for it?
>get chili knife
>shank Shakedown
>wail on him while he's down
>chug Tauriner
>shank him again
You mean Chika right?
you can brake?
SHIT NIGGER DID YOU EVEN READ THE INSTRUCTIONS
no
99, I think. From what I've heard, shit starts to get seriously OP by level 12 anyway, though.
Course you can break. What kind of fucked up arcade machine about racing doesn't have a break pedal?
