So, I was told this game had a bad backlash on here apparently.
Something something empty overworld something something.
Not seeing much of a backlash though.

the fact that the game has both a reptile protagonist AND a health bar means Im getting at least 4 copies
Wait, so where the fuck was my friend lurking?
I dont know
Dont fucking respond to my post
Recent gameplay showed a stage with a lot of wide open less-detailed areas with little in them before getting to better parts.
All-in-all it made the game look a little more lifeless, sadly. Will only know at release though.
That's what I heard.
Okay sorry
they said they removed most of the collectables and enemies to avoid spoilers

Is english your third language?
Anyone with an opinion is memeing, the game isn't out yet.
sure lol
Toybox didn't leave me much hope. Movement feels too light. It's just not satisfying to run and jump around, which is a must have for a platformer. Levels look needlessly large too. Will pirate and buy if it ends up being good. If not, I play it for an hour or two and stop because of how awful it is.
Psychonauts overtook this for me in terms of old school 3d platformer hype, the vids coming out of there look fucking gorgeous. The multiplayer party mode for yooka did kind of picque my interest though, I fucking loved all the crazy game modes they came up with for conker's bfd
We have Grant Kirkhope, David wise, and Steve Burke. That's enough to keep me sated even if the game is mediocre.
Was not a fan of the original Psychonauts, so literally no hype for the sequel. Gotta agree that it looks beautiful though.
I have high hopes for Playtonic. Even if Yooka Laylee doesn't end up being a game I like, I hope it's successful just so they'll possibly make games in different genres.

This
The game I'm really waiting on is what they decide to make next
It looks a bit scarce because the worlds are fucking huge in comparison to the tightly compressed ones of n64.
People want 20 activities every 5 centimeters like in n64, that's my theory.
>Grant "I keep making the same music with the same tired soundfont" Kirkhope
>Steve "literally who gives a shit about this guy" Burke
At least it has David Wise.
I just want it to come out already. Maybe then, I'll love video games again
Hopefully Project Dream or Dinosaur Planet will be in their distant future
Kiddie bullshit that console fagboys eat up
>serious games for mature gamers such as myself
>nuts & bolts has better graphics than yooka
The only thing that bugs me is that it's not a very pretty game, the art style is pretty damn plastic looking too
That's to bad. There's 200 of each right? At least its a fun side activity if you feel like exploring the levels more. What about the hot dog challenges? I've done a few and they give great exp, but anything else?
I'm just worried because the Playbox runs pretty average on my computer, but it meets all the system requirements listed on the Steam page. I'm hoping they've got the game proper running better so I don't have to buy more shit to play it properly.
I'm excited for it personally.
