Space Invaders came out in 1978.

Half life came out in 1998.

It's now 2017.

In one year, we'll be as far away from HL1s release in time as HL1 was from Space Invaders release when it came out.

Most games are better than HL1 at this point.

It was supposed to be a cliffhanger for an eventual Ep3 a year or so later but Valve realised the whole Episodes wasn't working so it turned into a full HL3 and then it fell by the wayside because no potential for hats
