I understand not overrating it but there is literally nothing wrong with the mechanic itself. Its not even completely necessary and you can survive most shit without it if you want the game to be slower.

I agree though these reviews seem overly inflated but the game is easily a 8/10 so far even with alittle bit of a enemy diversity problem and better then any Souls game besides Bloodborne and maybe DaS1 maybe.

Can anyone confirm more enemy types then base game on later Twilight missions/NG+? I hear NG+ has different enemy layouts/new AI patterns what have people found so far?

I also have even more hopes for NG+ since it seems less like Souls NG+ and more like another difficulty since its called Way of the Strong and base game is Way of the Samurai.

new game+ has crazy shit like also fighting multiple bosses at once, there is a thread on NG+ on gamefaqs for more info

It took me about 20 tries to beat the second boss. Not gonna lie im enjoying the game so far.
