It's better in most ways than the reboots actually, it just doesn't have a cover system since it's a purely first-person game.

I always finish the game with 30 biocells. Cloak barely drains once upgraded and there's repair bots in every level from when you can first obtain the augmentation.
In HR and MD it legitimately burns through cells quickly

Only if you do it too much. It also corrupts your save file too, so be careful.

Once upgraded, yeah it's pretty much the same if it weren't for the fact new players don't know that and will be more reluctant than in HR or MD to use it all the time because players tend to save up pots. So it's still more solid game design in that regard.

Get New Visions TEXTURES ONLY. Not the retarded models. Make sure you only tick the textures, they are a slight improvement whilst keeping the original look. This and Kentie's Launcher/Deus Exe is it.
