Dixie Kong. While similar to Diddy in body type, Dixie makes use of her hair for a number of attacks (including a tether grab), and can hurl powerful steel barrels.

Impa. Similar to Sheik in that she's fast and versatile, but foregoes needles for a Deku Seed attack, and uses Sheik's old side special as a Scorpion-esque tether grab.

If there is going to be a switch version of this I doubt they'd add any new characters or stages, after all they were really anal about keeping the playable roster the same between the WiiU and 3DS versions. At best you can hope for is a version that just has all the DLC on the cart and maybe includes all the content, like differing stages and modes, from both WiiU and 3DS versions.

They'd have no reason to be anal about keeping the newer versions roster the same as the old one. Wii U and 3DS were stated to have the same roster from the get go. Switch is its own thing and there's no split between it and anything else. People already have a Smash on the go so unless they add new noteworthy content (i.e. playable characters since that's all anyone truly gives a damn about) there'd be no reason to double dip.
