yes, i cried when the metroid sacrificed himself to save me
What news did that doggo receive?
>doggo
To the Moon did. Incredible story given the engine it's on.
mfw I have the same dog.
To the Moon is a badly written story in any medium and turning into a game just means 90% of the "interaction" is advancing dialog boxes
That's nice. I'm sorry your experience wasn't the same as mine.
he realized it's not the bogdanoff call
I agree with this post.
Could have been a great bittersweet story but they just had to go and ruin it with "le teenage scientists xD" humor all over the fucking place.
I cried when I played Resident Evil 0 because I got dumped by a girl named Rebecca
I know this is fucking cringey, but Undertale did.
Wind Waker.
calling it an incredible story is not "your experience," it's you lacking any criticism or self-reflection because you're desperate for feels from your favorite hobby
Similarly, people crying over Aeris isn't a sign that FF7 is well-written, it's a sign that vidya dorks are emotionally stunted. 31-year-old loser faggot here, I know what I'm talking about.
no cringe
>Could have been a great bittersweet story but they just had to go and ruin it with "le teenage scientists xD" humor all over the fucking place.
While I agree the humor often feel hamfisted, I think the story behind it make the "game" worth a playthrough.
Also, Plot elements are given at a somewhat well though pacing, pressing the player to keep playing, in order to check if the hypothesis he's building are correct. (e.g. what the hell with the paper bunnies ?)

Yup, that sure is an opinion.
Not all opinions are equal, friend.
>Plot elements are given at a somewhat well though pacing, pressing the player to keep playing, in order to check if the hypothesis he's building are correct
underage, retard, or third worlder, which is it?
That waas too much for my younger self
>callback to Mad World
...
Good bye, you beautiful bastard.
Ok.
...
I cried at the end of Tokyo Mirage Sessions
The credits' song just killed me
All the fucking time.
But I started crying at shit I found laughable previously after my mom died. Legitimately ridiculous. Can pretty much tear up on command now.
I cried during a few of the Lost Odyssey short stories.
One with the little girl or the one where his best friends wife kills herself were fucking rough.
>Crying over a slot machine with both good and bad memories of the game.
Halo 4, cortana's 'death'
This
>Lucas...remembered Claus' smell
>Lucas embraced Claus
>Lucas wanted to cry
:(
It's scary when you can see such a perfect example of how smart a certain fan base is
The Boss
Probably Bastion or Transistor.
>Ghost Trick
>AA3
>Undertale
>Legend of Grimrock 2
doggo
how the fuck? just how the fuck did they made a Pokemon game this melodramatic? I seriously didn't expect it to have so many feels.
I cried at the end of dragon age 2 when anders finally had enough of the mage oppression and let a revolt against the templers. It was a pretty powerful moment after they had been discriminated against the entire game. It really hit home with real life issues.
Transistor
Dogger
Never, but I was close with Red Dead Redemption when Compass started playing
Yeah Final Fantasy 6 made me cry at that fucking suicide scene.
I felt so hopeless at the time, I honestly thought that was going to be the end of it.

Finding out the town I pegged as small, and stifling, and empty... wasn't... any of those things.
>Not one mention of LiS
Screw you heartless fucks
I couldn't cry over this game but it fucked me up for a week or two.
Klonoa's ending
that fucking game
Dogowner
This fucking ending
youtube.com
>all he ever wanted to do was make his father proud
>all he ever does is keep fucking up
People shit on Kingdom Hearts 358/2 but that ending hit me in the gut with feels.
...
This always gets me.
It coming right after we see the happy endings of everyone else makes it worse.
You're putting so much effort into being a pissboy
No but I came pretty damn close at the very last twist in Ghost Trick
>"I want to go home! I want to go home right now!" The girl burst into tears, and the Lumas didn't know what to do. "I want to go home! I want to go back to my house by the hill! I want to see my mother!" The girl was shouting now, her face wet with tears. "But I know she's not there! I knew all along that she wasn't out there in the sky! Because...because..."
"She's sleeping under the tree on the hill!"
...
>mad world starts playing
I'M STILL IN A DREAM, SNAKE EATER!
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky
Only real niggas will understand my pain
>crying over anything in AA or Ghost Trick
Nigga they both got really happy endings
Fuck me.
Why did she gave her life? For honour?
...
>cry when 10yo and finish the game for the first time
>cry 10y later when you read the vivi is dead theory
Boss wasn't really that well written or wll enough introduced to the story by the time she died, so I really didn't give a damn about her death. She was just a random antagonist, to be honest.
This one, though, was much more hard hitting.
Nor for honor, or love, but FORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU
you're a fucking loser bro. worse than nayone from reddurp. take that to the bank kid.
Did you tho? Or did you just want to relate with Snake and pretended like it was sad?
>pic
TFW we'll probably never get a main Pokémon game with a story this captivating and well written
Sun and Moon came close, but not close enough
Kana:Imouto
I came buckets, then I cried buckets.
I cried when 343 released Halo 4.
...
I gotta disagree with you there man. I didn't feel bad for the mages, I just got pissed. Didn't think twice about executing his possessed ass. Yeah, the Kirkwall circle was fucked up, but - as much as I hate the cliche - he stooped to their level by killing innocents.
You can't know that beforehand. In Ghost Trick it was in the submarine. In AA3 is was this that hit me like a truck.
I need the original!!!
The one without the ugly nigger lover in it.
Fuck, man. Even the theme music gets me. God, that shit was really morbid for Nintendo.
Good answer.
Bad answer.
When Midna leaves, and destroys the mirror. I don't care what anyone says, that was heartbreaking.
If you kept up on the lore while playing Bloodborne, the fight with the Orphan of Kos is actually really sad. Didn't make me cry, but I didn't feel good about killing him. Well, I did after he wrecked me a million times, but, you know. In the context of the story it's not a happy kill.
ruff news
...
>Jack and Abigail bury John and Uncle
>Abigail only lives 3 years afterwords.
>That empty victory against Ross
youtube.com
it was pretty sad
...
DELET THIS
...
Ending to shadow of the colossus makes me tear up.
Couldn't play this game for more than 20 minutes. Made me feel like I was going to vomit.
>Undertale
I don't understand how people cry with that shit
youtube.com
I didn't cry at the end of the witcher 3 but I felt empty for days, like something had been ripped out of me. 3 games and all the books, over a decade with the franchise and then it was done, on such a bitter sweet note.
tear up like a little bitch
these 70 hours games man, they get to you
