The only fun way to play that game is running around naked and hitting people. That only lasts a few hours tops.

It's only fun in a server full of friends or a group of people. Playing with randos on public servers is complete shit and is the entire reason the game is shit. The community is full of shit head hackers and people who just waste building space, I don't care about the shoot on sight attitude, it adds some challenge to traversing the world's. And the public servers are always super gay shit like 10x resources, no pvp outside of designated area or else you'll be banned, and small maps

nah, not worth the time. I managed to get big and run a server for a couple weeks with my friends a couple of times and it's alright but the game is too much of a timesink for too little enjoyment.

I played Rust about 2 months ago, I didn't get any radiation while entering the loot zones

I bought rust and tried to play it multiple times, but it just feels so utterly pointless.

Why bother building a base if it's just going to get raided when I sleep? Why bother building guns? What is the endgame? Killing other players? You can do that much better in a million other games.

This can't be a real thread. The games been in early access for what? Six years now? Anyone with a brain knew the devs stopped giving a single solitary fuck about it once they implemented a fucking cosmetic cash shop instead of making the game not fucking boring and shitty to play. I just checked back on it after like three years and animals STILL DON'T EVEN HAVE COLLISION. THREE YEARS. Fuck out of here or release the game so I can get my money back.

There's an update a week. I have no idea what they are doing.

Rust is a great game with a lot of issues. One of my favourites regardless, fun, good with friends, but sometimes requires too much time for each wipe. At least in my experience I basically have to play every day or at least every other day if I want to keep my base, and wipe day is always a grind to get a big enough base before it can be offlined easily that night.
